Abstract

As the population grows in an area, the electricity demand will automatically increase. So that the distribution of electrical energy originating from the substation (GI) must be adequate and ensure safety for consumers. In accordance with RI Law No. 30 of 2009 concerning Electricity which reads "Electricity Development aims to ensure the availability of electricity in sufficient quantities, good quality, and reasonable prices in order to improve the welfare and prosperity of the people in a fair and equitable manner and realize sustainable development. Data will be analyzed by descriptive method and processed using the ETAP (Eletrical Transient Analyzer Program) application. The working time of relay on 1 phase interruption to ground has the largest difference of relay working time which is 2.44 seconds compared to the 3 phase interruption relay working time which is 0.69 seconds and the 2 phase interruption relay working time which is 0.82 seconds. Based on the data analysis, it was concluded that the coordination of Over Current Relay and Ground Fault Relay protection relay in Serang Substation is the difference between the time of protection setting. Key Words : Relay, OCR, GFR, Protection, ETAP Seiring berkembangnya jumlah penduduk pada suatu daerah, maka kebutuhan listrikpun otomatis semakin meningkat. Sehingga penyaluran energi listrik yang berasal dari Gardu Induk pun (GI) harus memadai dan menjamin keselamatan bagi para konsumen. Sesuai dengan UU RI No. 30 Tahun 2009 tentang Ketenagalistrikan yang berbunyi “Pembangunan Ketenagalistrikan bertujuan untuk menjamin ketersedian tenaga listrik dalam jumlah yang cukup, kualitas yang baik, dan harga yang wajar dalam rangka meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan kemakmuran rakyat secara adil dan merata serta mewujudkan pembangunan yang berkelanjutan. Data akan dianalisa dengan metode deskriptif dan diolah dengan menggunakan aplikasi ETAP (Eletrical Transient Analyzer Program). Waktu kerja relay pada gangguan 1 fasa ke tanah memiliki selisih waktu kerja relay terbesar yakni 2,44 detik dibandingkan dengan waktu kerja relay gangguan 3 fasa yakni 0,69 detik dan waktu kerja relay gangguan 2 fasa yakni 0,82 detik. Berdasarkan analisa data yang dilakukan, diperoleh kesimpulan koordinasi relay proteksi Over Current Relay dan Ground Fault Relay di Gardu Induk Serang adanya selisih waktu settingan proteksinya.
