Abstract

Television is a very proven mass media that greatly influences its audience. Television is a very advanced media at this time, after that new internet media are also increasingly sophisticated and affect the interests of its users because of its extremely broad appeal. Television also has a positive and negative value to the audience who use it. Television broadcasts according to their nature that can be enjoyed on audio visual basis are the most influential media in shaping attitudes, personalities and knowledge of society In this study, the impact of communication is related to the S-O-R Theory. Theory explains how the media is used and has an effect on the use of the media as a source of information. In line with this theory, the audience receives the impact caused after watching the I LOOK Impression giving effect to the audience. The impact received by student fashion behavior at the I LOOK show. This study uses a quantitative approach with explanatory research types. The method used is using the survey method with questionnaires as the main instrument to obtain information from a number of respondents. The results of this study indicate that the probability level is 0,000 which is much smaller than the significance level value of 0.05 (α 5% significance level) which means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, or it can be concluded that there is a significant effect between Impressions I Student Fashion Behavior, with a correlation number of 0.529 which indicates that the level of relationship (correlation) in this study is classified as sufficient, positive and in the same direction. From several dimensions that have been described in the operationalization table of concepts, which have the most dominant influence on the behavior of student fashion are dimensions of Cognitive variables with student fashion indicators. Televisi adalah media massa sangat terbukti sangat mempengaruhi audiensnya.Televisi adalah media yang sangat maju saat ini, setelah itu baru media internet yang juga semakin canggih dan mempengaruhi minat para penggunanya karna jangauan yang sangat luas. Televisi juga mempunyai nilai positive dan negative kepada audiens yang menggunakannya. Siaran televise sesuai dengan sifatnya yang dapat dinikmati secara audio visual merupakan media paling bepengaruh dalam membentuk sikap,kepribadian dan pengetahuan masyarakat Dalam penelitian ini, dampak komunikasi berkaitan dengan Teori S-OR. Teori menjelaskan tentang bagaimana media itu digunakan dan menimbulkan efek atas penggunaan media tersebut sebagai sumber informasi. Sejalan dengan teori ini, khalayak menerima dampak yang ditimbulkan setelah menonton Tayangan I LOOK memberikan efek kepada khalayaknya. Dampak yang diterima prilaku fashion mahasiswa di tayangan I LOOK. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan tipe penelitian eksplanatif. Metode yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan metode survey dengan kuisioner sebagai instrumen utama untuk mendapatkan informasi dari sejumlah responden. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat probabilitas sebesar 0,000 yakni jauh lebih kecil dari nilai taraf signifikasi sebesar 0,05 (taraf signifikasi α 5%) yang berarti Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, atau dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara Tayangan I LOOK terhadap Prilaku Fashion Mahasiswa, dengan angka korelasi sebesar 0,529 yang menunjukan bahwa tingkat hubungan (korelasi) pada penelitian ini tergolong cukup, positif dan searah. Dari beberapa dimensi yang telah di paparkan pada tabel operasionalisasi konsep, yang memiliki pengaruh paling dominan terhadap perilaku fashion mahasiswa merupakan dimensi dari variable Kognitif dengan indikator fashion mahasiswa.
