Abstract

Along with the times and advances in digital media technology, more and more social media are popping up, such as YouTube. YouTube is a popular video for free. One of the interesting channels is Jebreet media TV. Especially in the audience of football lovers, who observe football developments, of course they need information and entertainment about football from various media. Therefore, with the audience's need for information or entertainment about football around the world, the channel is expected to fulfill and satisfy their needs.This research is a qualitative descriptive research with reception analysis theory, and this research uses data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and observation. From the results of research, it is concluded that public opinion about football channel Jebreeet Media TV's YouTube, got more dominant meaning in large quantity. From the results of the calculation of the number of tables obtained for the dominant meaning is 11. That means, adjust the meaning between producers and consumers in this case is knowing the audience's opinion of the channel YouTube Jebreeet Media TV in order to get high convenience of meaning comparison versus negotiation and meaning of opposition. Keyword: Analysis, New Media, YouTube, Audience, Football Seiring berkembangnya zaman serta kemajuan teknologi digital media, makin banyak media sosial yang bermunculan seperti YouTube. YouTube adalah sebuah situs web video sharing (berbagi video) populer secara gratis. Salah satu channel yang menarik adalah Jebreet media TV. Khususnya dalam audiens pecinta sepakbola, yang mengamati perkembangan sepakbola tentu mereka membutuhkan informasi maupun hiburan mengenai persepakbolaan dari berbagai media. Oleh karena itu, dengan adanya kebutuhan khalayak atau audiens akan suatu informasi ataupun hiburan tentang sepakbola diseluruh dunia yang diharapkan dapat memenuhi dan memuaskan masyarakat. Penelitian ini adalah tipe penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan teori resepsi analisis, dan penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam dan obsevarsi. Dari hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa opini khalayak mengenai media pada tayangan YouTube Jebreeet Media TV, mendapatkan pemaknaan dominan yang lebih banyak jumlahnya. Dari hasil perhitungan jumlah tabel didapatkan hasil untuk pemaknaan dominan adalah sebanyak 11. Artinya, kesesuaian pemaknaan antara produsen dan konsumen dalam hal ini adalah mengetahui opini audiens terhadap kanal YouTube Jebreeet Media TV guna mendapatkan kesamaan pemaknaan yang tinggi jumlahnya dibandingkan tingkat negosiasi dan pemaknaan oposisi.
