Abstract

To study a sign in an advertisement, it can use the semiotic analysis method. According to Peirce, semiotics is based on logic, because logic studies how people reason. The purpose of this ad research is to find out how the meaning of the moral message contained in the Tokopedia Version "Love Story in the Train" advertisement. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that in this advertisement there is a message to be conveyed namely Brand Identity, Brand Recall, and Call to Action. Advertisers remind us that Tokopedia can provide convenience for us to shop practically. Keywords : The Meaning of Moral Message, Semiotics Charles Sanders Peirce, Tokopedia Untuk mengkaji suatu tanda dalam iklan dapat menggunakan metode analisis semiotika. Menurut Peirce semiotika didasarkan pada logika, karena logika mempelajari bagaimana orang bernalar. Tujuan dari penelitian iklan ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana makna pesan moral yang terdapat dalam iklan Tokopedia Versi “Cerita Cinta di Dalam Kereta”. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa pada iklan ini terdapat pesan yang ingin disampaikan yaitu Brand Identity, Brand Recall, dan Call to Action. Pengiklan mengingatkan kita bahwa tokopedia bisa memberikan kemudahan untuk kita berbelanja secara praktis. Kata Kunci : Makna Pesan Moral, Semiotika Charles Sanders Peirce, Tokopedia
