Abstract

Web service significantly start widely used to give the space integration in diversity system web service but also considered for main performance degradation. This essay provide an illustration of the influence of the involvement of a web service on performance system for the application of which is essentially equivalent to application that coincide each other .With an implement the oracle CRM 8.1 siebel, the first without the use of web interface service and the other use some help a web service to give integration with another system .Performance than over the total throughput, response time and latency. From the data analysis showed that when using a web service the number of threads who succeeded sent greater if than without using a web service .But , of the analysis result of the data if using a web service the time it takes for long if than without using a web service .Throughput system experienced degradation although the difference of his just a little about 5 % .If using a web service , system can handle the number of threads a great by the difference of response time longer if than without using a web service .The percentage distinction his around 20 % .To latency to raise the large enough around 20 % at the beginning of change thread .After that latency become stable .It can avoided if specification hardware use the specifications much better and stronger. Web service secara signifikan mulai banyak digunakan untuk memberikan keleluasaan integerasi pada keberagaman sistem namun web service juga dianggap sebagai sebab utama degradasi performansi. Tulisan ini memberikan gambaran pengaruh keterlibatan web service pada performansi sistem untuk aplikasi yang pada dasarnya merupakan aplikasi yang saling berimpitan. Dengan mengimplementasikan variasi Oracle Siebel CRM 8.1, yang pertama tanpa menggunakan interface web service dan yang lain menggunakan bantuan web service untuk memberikan integerasi dengan sistem lain. Performansi dibandingkan atas total keseluruhan Throughput, response time, dan latency. Dari hasil analisa data menunjukan bahwa ketika menggunakan Web service jumlah thread yang berhasil dikirim lebih besar jika dibandingkan tanpa menggunakan Web service. Namun, dari hasil analisa data tersebut jika menggunakan Web service waktu yang dibutuhkan lebih lama jika dibandingkan tanpa menggunakan Web service. Throughput sistem mengalami degradasi walaupun perbedaan nya hanya sedikit sekitar 5%. Jika menggunakan Web service, sistem dapat menangani jumlah thread yang besar dengan perbedaan response time yang lebih lama jika dibandingkan tanpa menggunakan Web service. Persentase perbedaan nya sekitar 20%. Untuk latency adanya kenaikan yang cukup besar sekitar 20 % di awal perubahan thread. Setelah itu latency menjadi stabil. Hal tersebut bisa dihindari jika spesifikasi perangkat keras menggunakan spesifikasi yang lebih bagus dan lebih kuat.
