Abstract

Paytren is a provider of mobile payment services held by PT. Veritra Sentosa International, but Paytren has a business system that distinguishes from other mobile payments, namely Multi-level Marketing (MLM) system. Paytren business partner is the length of the company to run the MLM system. To build the motivation of the partners in Business MLM, PayTren conduct promotion through TV Streaming called PayTren TV and also through social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, and Youtube). This research discusses the effectiveness of Paytren promotion through Streaming TV and social Media (Instagram, Facebook, and Youtube) in building the motivation for business partners. Research using this exportative quantitative method, using multiple linear regression analyses to test the results of the study, also used the uses and effect theory that explains the relationship between time communication delivered through the media, which affects the media users. The study used an online survey distributed via WhatsApp with a sample of 100 people. The results showed that the promotion of Paytren through Streaming TV and social Media is quite effective in building the motivation to do business partners Paytren. There are two free variables as the elaboration of the promotion concept of Paytren i.e. through Streaming TV and through social Media. The results of the study stated that both free variables significantly affect/effectively build the motivation of Paytren business partner. Keywords: promotion, communication, effectiveness, building motivation. Paytren merupakan penyedia jasa mobile payment yang diselenggarakan oleh PT. Veritra Sentosa Internasional, selain itu Paytren memiliki sistem bisnis yaitu yang membedakan dari mobile payment lainnya, yaitu system Multi-level Marketing (MLM). Mitra Bisnis Paytren adalah kepanjangan tangan dari perusahaan untuk menjalankan sistem MLM tersebut. Untuk membangunmotivasi para Mitra dalam berbisnis MLM, PayTren melakukan Promosi melalui TV Streaming yang disebut PayTren TV dan juga melalui kanal media sosial (Instagram, Facebook, dan Youtube). Penelitian ini membahas tentang Efektivitas Promosi Paytren melalui TV Streaming dan Media Sosial (Instagram, Facebook, dan Youtube) dalam Membangun Motivasi Berbisnis Mitra. Penelitian yang menggunakan metode kuantitatif eksplanatif ini, menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda untuk menguji hasil penelitian, juga menggunakan teori uses and effect yang menjelaskan mengenai hubungan antara komunikasi masa yang disampaikan melalui media, yang menimbulkan pengaruh bagi para pengguna media tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan survei online yang disebarkan melalui WhatsApp dengan sampel sebanyak 100 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa promosi Paytren melalui TV Streaming dan Media Sosial cukup efektif dalam membangun motivasi berbisnis Mitra Paytren. Terdapat dua variabel bebas sebagai elaborasi dari konsep promosi Paytren yaitu melalui TV Streaming dan melalui Media Sosial . Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa kedua variabel bebas secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap / efektif membangun motivasi Mitra Bisnis Paytren.
