Abstract
Every child has abilities, including the ability to count and the ability to interact with objects seen by the eye. However, the media used for children aged 4-5 years also influence in developing children's abilities, one of them is through educational toys. Educational toys are games that aim to help create an atmosphere of learning and learning process in early childhood (4-5 years). Educational toys for early childhood, one of them is the concept of counting toys. Educational toys design of the concept of counting varies so that it has the aim so that children can count by playing and learning. The design of this toy is very influential for a child's attractiveness, which is affordance (how the child receives stimuli from objects seen to perform play or learning actions). Keywords : Early childhood, Educational Toys Count, Affordance Setiap anak memiliki kemampuan, termasuk kemampuan berhitung dan kemampuan berinteraksi terhadap objek yang dilihat oleh mata. Namun demikian, media yang digunakan untuk anak usia 4-5 tahun turut mempengaruhi dalam mengembangkan kemampuan anak salah satunya melalui produk mainan edukatif. Mainan edukatif adalah permainan yang bertujuan untuk membantu mewujudkan suasana belajar dan proses pembelajaran pada anak-anak usia dini (4-5 tahun). Mainan edukatif bagi anak usia dini salah satunya jenis konsep mainan berhitung. Desain mainan edukatif konsep berhitung bermacam-macam sehingga memiliki tujuan agar anak bisa berhitung dengan cara bermain dan belajar. Desain pada mainan ini sangat berpengaruh bagi daya tarik anak yaitu affordance (bagaimana si anak menerima rangsangan dari benda yang dilihat untuk melakukan aksi bermain maupun belajar).
