Abstract

This research is to determine the effect of work motivation and work discipline on the performance of PT Yuasa Battery Indonesia. The object of this research is all employees who work at PT. Yuasa Battery Indonesia. This research was conducted on 550 respondents using a quantitative descriptive approach. Determining the sample size uses a saturated sampling technique, namely taking the entire population. The approach used in this research is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the Smart-PLS analysis tool. Therefore, the results of this study state that the work motivation variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on work discipline and work discipline has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance at PT. Yuasa Battery Indonesia. Keywords: Work Motivation, Work Discipline, Performance, PT. Yuasa Battery Indonesia. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi kerja, dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. Yuasa Battery Indonesia. Objek penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan yang bekerja pada PT. Yuasa Battery Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 550 responden dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Penentuan besarnya sampel menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh yaitu mengambil seluruh populasi. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Structural Equation Model (SEM) dengan alat analisis Smart-PLS. Oleh karena itu, hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa variabel motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap disiplin kerja dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT.
