Abstract

Indonesia was one of the countries have an abundance of diversity plants in the world .It is influenced by indonesia geographical position extremely unfortunate , is on between two the continent that is the asian continent and of the australian continent .To conservation artifacts etnobotani objects evidence the utilization of plants by indonesian people this is , it takes an etnobotani museum indonesia .In general a museum on the form of the most of thumb was that in building the collection for minutely , learned and enjoyed .Museum etnobotani indonesia established to give you an idea to young generation about the merits of the plants in indonesia and used by the people of indonesia from time to time .In addition , through etnobotani museum indonesia will be able to attract curiosity and concern for the diversity of species of plants that is useful in Indonesia Keywords: Museum, Museum Ethnobotany Jakarta, Plant, Utilization of plants Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara yang memiliki keanekaragaman tumbuhan di dunia. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh posisi geografis Indonesia yang sangat menguntungkan, yaitu terletak di antara dua benua yaitu benua Asia dan benua Australia. Untuk mengkonservasi artefak-artefak etnobotani benda-benda bukti pemanfaatan tumbuhan oleh masyarakat Indonesia inilah, dibutuhkan sebuah Museum Etnobotani Indonesia. Secara umum sebuah museum pada bentuk yang paling sederhananya adalah bangunan koleksi untuk di teliti, dipelajari dan dinikmati. Museum Etnobotani Indonesia didirikan untuk memberi gambaran kepada generasi muda tentang manfaat tumbuhan yang ada di Indonesia dan digunakan oleh masyarakat Indonesia dari masa ke masa. Selain itu, melalui Museum Etnobotani Indonesia dapat menarik keingintahuan dan kepedulian terhadap keanekaragaman jenis tumbuhan yang berguna di Indonesia.
