Abstract
This study examines the effect of Work-Life Balance (WLB) and workload on employee performance, with work motivation as a mediating variable, at Cengkareng General Hospital. The research population includes all hospital employees, with a sample of 92 respondents determined using the Slovin formula. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results show that WLB and workload have a positive and significant effect on work motivation. Work motivation also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. WLB directly and positively affects performance, while workload does not show a significant direct effect on performance. Furthermore, work motivation acts as a full mediator in the relationship between workload and performance, and as a partial mediator in the relationship between WLB and employee performance at Cengkareng General Hospital. Keywords: Work-Life Balance, workload, work motivation, employee performance, mediation, Cengkareng General Hospital Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh Work Life Balance (WLB) dan beban kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan melibatkan motivasi kerja sebagai variabel mediasi di lingkungan RSUD Cengkareng. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh pegawai rumah sakit tersebut, dengan sampel sebanyak 92 responden yang ditentukan menggunakan rumus Slovin. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) berbasis Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa WLB dan beban kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja. Selain itu, motivasi kerja juga terbukti berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. WLB secara langsung berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja, sementara beban kerja tidak menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan langsung terhadap kinerja. Lebih lanjut, motivasi kerja berperan sebagai mediator penuh dalam hubungan antara beban kerja dan kinerja, serta sebagai mediator parsial dalam hubungan antara WLB dan kinerja pegawai di RSUD Cengkareng.
