Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of: (1) Communication on work motivation, (2) To determine the influence of leadership style on work motivation, (3) To determine the influence of motivation on employee performance at the Subang Population and Civil Registration Service. The Subang Population and Civil Registration Service is a government organization that operates in the field of civil administration. This research uses quantitative methods. Sampling used the Probability Sampling method. With a population of 160 employees at the Subang Population and Civil Registration Service. The sample used was 114 respondents using the Slovin formula. The analytical method used in this research is the Component or Variance Based Structural Equation Model where the data processing uses the Partial Least Square (Smart-PLS) program. The sample data collection technique is by distributing questionnaires to employees of the Subang Population and Civil Registration Service. The results of the research show that: (1) Communication has a positive and significant influence on work motivation, (2) Leadership style has a positive and significant influence on work motivation, (3) Motivation has a positive and significant influence on employee performance at the Subang Population and Civil Registration Service. The research results provide the importance of developing good communication strategies and implementing appropriate leadership styles to increase employee motivation and performance at the Subang Population and Civil Registration Service. Keywords: Communication, Leadership Style, Motivation, Employee Performance Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh : (1) Komunikasi terhadap Motivasi kerja, (2) Untuk Mengetahui pengaruh Gaya Kepemimpinan terhadap Motivasi kerja, (3) Untuk Mengetahui pengaruh Motivasi terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Subang. Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Subang merupakan Organisasi pemerintahan yang bergerak dalam bidang administrasi sipil. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode Probability Sampling. Dengan populasi yang digunakan sebanyak 160 pegawai pada Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Subang. Sampel yang digunakan 114 responden menggunakan rumus Slovin. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Component atau Variance Based Structural Equation Model dimana dalam pengolahan datanya menggunakan program Partial Least Square (Smart-PLS). Teknik pengumpulan data sampel dengan membagikan kuesioner pada pegawai Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Subang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa : (1) Komunikasi Berpengaruh Positif dan signifikan terhadap Motivasi kerja, (2) Gaya Kepemimpinan Berpengaruh Positif dan signifikan terhadap Motivasi kerja, (3) Motivasi Berpengaruh Positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Subang. Hasil penelitian memberikan implikasi pentingnya pengembangan strategi komunikasi yang baik dan penerapan gaya kepemimpinan yang sesuai untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan kinerja karyawan pada Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Subang.
