Abstract

The use of packaging in an online based business is very important. This is because the product will go through delivery process handles by a thirt party. However, "The New Collector" as an online accessories business established in 2016, does not yet have packaging that capable of protecting it's products. The current packaging is also lacks brand identity and product information labels. Therefore, the design of packaging and product labels for "The New Collector" accessories is aimed at creating packaging that is not only aesthetic but also functional for promotional purposes. By using the design thinking method, the packaging and product labels are equipped with informative visuals to help users identify the products they purchase. Through various considerations, the local vintage concept was chosen to create a nostalgic impression and build a bridge between generations, enabling "The New Collector" to reach it's entire target audience. Keywords : Packaging, Product Labels, Accessories, Local Vintage Penggunaan kemasan dalam usaha berbasis online sangat penting. Hal ini karena produk akan melalui proses pengiriman yang dilakukan oleh pihak ketiga. Namun, The New Collector sebagai usaha aksesoris online yang sudah berdiri sejak tahun 2016 belum memiliki kemasan yang mampu melindungi produknya. Kemasan yang sekarang pun belum memiliki identitas brand dan label informasi mengenai produk yang ditawarkan. Oleh karena itu, perancangan desain kemasan dan label produk aksesoris "The New Collector" untuk promosi bertujuan untuk menghadirkan kemasan yang tidak hanya estetis, tetapi juga fungsional. Dengan menggunakan metode design thinking, kemasan dan label produk ini dilengkapi dengan visual yang informatif sehingga dapat membantu pengguna dalam mengidentifikasi produk yang dibelinya. Melalui berbagai pertimbangan, konsep vintage lokal dipilih untuk menciptakan kesan nostalgic dan membangun jembatan antara generasi sehingga dapat menjangkau seluruh target audiens "The New Collector".
