Abstract
This study analyzes the Millennial Generation in Comedy (Komika) on the Ferry Irwandi Youtube Channel Episode 'Angok Mati Comedy'. Departing from the purpose of humor as a medium in conveying social expression and criticism, stand up comedy often presents humor that is lifted from social phenomena. This research was conducted to see how health is in comics, when stand up comedy is used as a medium to express opinions. This research method is a qualitative method. The analysis used in this study is the Stuart Hall reception. The paradigm used in this study is the constructivist paradigm. The research object used is content from the Ferry Irwandi channel eps "Comedy Dead Angles". The unit of analysis is then interpreted in the form of three meanings that are characteristic of Stuart Hall, namely dominant hegemony, negotiation, and opposition. The researcher obtained the findings obtained, namely the understanding of comic strip mental health issues. The researcher obtained findings that there was a constructivist ideology that was trying to break down through the content of Ferry Irwandi Eps "Comedy Dead Angles". Based on research on the content of Comedy Dead Angles, it is concluded that the mental health of comic stripers is very important. Keywords: Stand Up Comedy, Mental Health, Humor, Youtube, Millennials Penelitian ini menganalisis Generasi Mileneal Pada Komedi (Komika) Di Channel Youtube Ferry Irwandi Episode ‘Sudut Mati Komedi’. Berangkat dari tujuan humor sebagai media dalam menyampaikan ekspresi dan kritik sosial, stand up comedy kerap kali menyajikan humor yang diangkat dari fenomena sosial. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat bagaimana kesehatan pada komika, ketika stand up comedy dijadikan sebagai medium untuk mengemukakan pendapat. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Analisis yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah resepsi Stuart Hall. Paradigma yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah paradigma konstruktivis. Adapun objek penelitian yang digunakan ialah konten dari channel Ferry Irwandi eps.”Sudut Mati Komedi”. Unit analisis tersebut kemudian dimaknai ke dalam bentuk tiga pemaknaan yang menjadi ciri khas Stuart Hall, yaitu hegemoni dominan, negosiasi, dan oposisi. Peneliti memperoleh hasil temuan yang didapatkan yaitu pemahaman terhadap isu kesehatan mental para komika. Peneliti memperoleh hasil temuan adanya ideologi konstruktivis yang berupaya didobrak melalui konten Ferry Irwandi Eps “Sudut Mati Komedi”. Berdasarkan penelitian terhadap konten Sudut Mati Komedi terdapat kesimpulan bahwa kesehatan mental para komika ialah hal yang sangat penting.
