Abstract

Angkringan is one of the traditional businesses originating from Klaten and has been around since 1930. However, in the era of digitalization and modernization at this time of course there are many businesses that have the concept of attracting the attention of consumers. So with that, the researcher wants to design a promotional media that makes angkringan a modern traditional concept, namely ginasthel angkringan cafe so that they can keep up with the times without losing the identity of the angkringan and will be able to attract consumers from all walks of life to visit the angkringan cafe. Then, in this final project, the promotion method used is through social media Instagram as the main media that will be used and the supporting media consists of several merchandise such as aprons, glasses, t-shirts and banners. Keywords: Angkringan, promotional media, merchandise. Angkringan merupakan salah satu usaha tradisional yang berasal dari klaten dan sudah ada sejak tahun 1930. Namun dimasa digitalisasi serta modernisasi pada saat ini tentu banyak sekali bisnis-bisnis yang memiliki konsep menarik perhatian konsumen. Maka dengan itu peneliti ingin merancang media promosi yang membuat angkringan menjadi berkonsep tradisional modern yaitu cafe angkringan ginasthel agar tetap dapat mengikuti perkembangan zaman tanpa menghilangkan identitas dari angkringan tersebut serta akan dapat menarik minat konsumen dari semua kalangan untuk mengunjungi cafe angkringan tersebut. Kemudian, pada tugas akhir ini, metode promosi yang dilakukan ialah melalui media social Instagram sebagai media utama yang akan digunakan dan media pendukung terdiri dari beberapa merchandise seperti apron, gelas, t-shirt serta banner. Kata Kunci: Angkringan, media promosi, merchandise.
