Abstract

The relationship between parents and children has an important role in the growth and development of children. Various efforts can be made to create a good relationship between parents and children. One of them is through interaction. A good interaction between parent and child will create a good relationship between parent and child. However, not all parents have experience in sorting and choosing what interactions should be done; as well as being able to execute these interactions well so as to makes interactions that are fun for children, effective, and quality. For most new parents or parents with a young age, they will certainly have difficulties in creating a pleasant, effective, and quality interaction for children. The intensity of interaction with parents can be realized well one of them by storytelling. But in practice, fairy tales usually only bring about one-way interactions. So that the child / listener does not have more involvement in fairy tale activities than just listening. Based on the explanation of the two things above, we need a product as a medium to help new parents or parents with a young age in realizing good interactions with children. The product can also function as a medium for introducing fairy tales that can create two-way interactions between parents as storytellers or storytellers with children as listeners. Hubungan antara orangtua dan anak memiliki peranan penting dalam pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak. Berbagai upaya dapat dilakukan untuk mewujudkan hubungan yang baik antara orangtua dan anak. Salah satunya melalui interaksi. Interaksi yang baik antara orangtua dan anak akan menciptakan hubungan yang baik pula antara orangtua dan anak. Namun, tidak semua orangtua memiliki pengalaman dalam memilah dan memilih interaksi apa yang seharusnya dilakukan; serta mampu mengeksekusi interaksi tersebut dengan baik sehingga menghasilkan interaksi yang menyenangkan bagi anak, efektif, dan berkualitas. Bagi sebagian besar orangtua baru ataupun orangtua dengan latar belakang usia muda, mereka tentu akan memiliki kesulitan dalam mewujudkan interaksi yang menyenangkan bagi anak, efektif, dan berkualitas. Intensitas interaksi dengan orangtua dapat terwujud dengan baik salah satunya melalui kegiatan mendongeng. Namun dalam pelaksanaannya, kegiatan dongeng biasanya menghasilkan interaksi satu arah. Sehingga anak/pendengar tidak memiliki pengalaman keterlibatan lebih dalam kegiatan dongeng selain hanya mendengarkan. Berdasarkan penjabaran kedua hal di atas, dibutuhkan suatu produk sebagai media dalam membantu orangtua baru atau orangtua dengan latar belakang usia muda dalam mewujudkan interaksi yang baik dengan anak. Produk tersebut dapat berfungsi pula sebagai media pengantar dongeng yang mampu mewujudkan interaksi dua arah antara orangtua sebagai pendongeng atau pencerita dengan anak sebagai pendengar. Kata kunci: media, sarana, cerita, dongeng, kisah, folklor, bercerita, interaksi, orangtua, anak, interaktif, kayu.
