Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of emotional intelligence and workload on work stress and employee performance. The population in this study were 70 Busway Service Officers of PT. Jakarta Transportation. The sample used in this study was 70 PLB. The sampling method used in conducting this research study is nonprobability sampling in this study, researchers used saturated sampling. The data analysis method uses Partial Least Square (PLS). This research proves that emotional intelligence has a positive and significant effect on work stress. Emotional intelligence has a positif andt significant effect on employee performance. Workload has a positif and significant effect on work stress. Workload has a negatif and significant effect on employee performance. Job stress has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Keywords: Emotional Intelligence and Workload Influence on Work Stress and Employee Performance, Busway Service Officers (PLB). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kecerdasan emosional dan beban kerja terhadap stres kerja dan kinerja karyawan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 70 Petugas Layanan Busway (PLB) PT. Transportasi Jakarta. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 70 PLB. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam melakukan penelitian penelitian ini adalah nonprobability sampling dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan sampling jenuh. Metode analisis data menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS). Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap stres kerja. Kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Beban kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap stres kerja. Beban kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Stres kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Kata Kunci: Kecerdasan Emosional dan Beban Kerja Perngaruhnya terhadap Stres Kerja dan Kinerja Karyawan, Petugas Layanan Busway (PLB).
