Abstract

Business competitive world provides a challenge for companies to run their business in a sustainable manner and minimize the disruption that occurred during the running business processes. One of the factors is the timeliness of softgoods during development. Softgoods is the material / fabric used to make Barbie clothes. Softgoods development is the process of developing softgoods by analyzing samples of small size to become softgoods such as raw material in the form of materials / fabrics for use in production. The purpose of this thesis is to determine the factors that influence the process of softgoods Development, to find out the optimum achievement of the factors that influence the process to know the softgoods Development and softgoods Development process improvement efforts to comply with the schedule already determined. Descriptive analysis methods are appropriate techniques for the investigation of a delay in the schedule during the process of development softgoods. Analytical method used is by tabulation method, graphical method and causal comparative method. Based on the analysis, the factors that influence the development process is a workers, equipment and material, the factor of field conditions, design and predecessor. Optimizing the attainment of the factors that influence the process of development softgoods are there some that have been optimized and some factors which are not optimal. Softgoods development process improvement efforts to conform to the schedule already determined is sent the DSP softgoods to development team, determining the type of softgoods including existing, delivery by express delivery, softgoods analysis engineer responsibilities and approval of the engineer. With the proposed improvements are expected to occur late in the process of development to 0%, so the accuracy of time during the development process will be followed by timeliness in production. Recommendations of this research is to use the entire softgoods process in accordance with SOP development that during the development process, so designers have placed on PTMI and ERP systems should be online between PTMI and MTHK.Persaingan dunia usaha memberikan tantangan bagi perusahaan untuk menjalankan bisnisnya secara berkelanjutan dan meminimalisasi gangguan yang terjadi selama menjalankan proses usahanya. Salah satu faktornya adalah ketepatan waktu selama proses softgoods development. Softgoods adalah bahan/kain yang digunakan untuk membuat pakaian Barbie. Softgoods development merupakan proses mengembangkan softgoods dengan cara menganalisa sample softgoods dari ukuran kecil sampai menjadi softgoods berupa material mentah dalam bentuk bahan/kain untuk digunakan di produksi. Tujuan penulisan Karya Akhir ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap proses softgoods development, untuk mengetahui optimalisasi pencapaian dari faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh pada proses softgoods development dan untuk mengetahui upaya perbaikan proses softgoods development agar sesuai dengan schedule yang sudah ditentukan. Metode analisa deskriptif merupakan tehnik yang tepat untuk meneliti adanya keterlambatan jadwal selama proses softgoods development. Metode analisa yang digunakan yaitu dengan metode tabulasi, metode grafik dan metode causal comparative. Berdasarkan analisa yang dilakukan, faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap proses softgoods development adalah faktor pekerja, faktor peralatan, faktor material, faktor kondisi lapangan, faktor desain, dan faktor predecessor. Optimalisasi pencapaian dari faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh pada proses softgoods development adalah ada beberapa yang sudah optimal dan beberapa faktor yang belum optimal. Upaya perbaikan proses softgoods development agar sesuai dengan schedule yang sudah ditentukan adalah DSP Softgoods dikirim ke Softgoods development team, menentukan jenis softgoods termasuk existing, pengiriman dengan express delivery, analisa softgoods tanggung jawab engineer, approval dari engineer. Dengan upaya perbaikan yang diusulkan diharapkan akan terjadi keterlambatan dalam proses development hingga 0 %, sehingga ketepatan waktu selama proses development akan diikuti dengan ketepatan waktu dibagian produksi. Rekomendasi penelitian ini adalah agar menggunakan seluruh proses softgoods development yang sesuai dengan SOP selama proses development, agar desainer ada yang ditempatkan di PTMI dan sistem ERP online antara PTMI dan MTHK.
