Abstract

ABSTRAK PT. Toyota Boshoku Indonesia adalah sebuah perusahaan manufaktur yang memproduksi komponen dan interior otomotif, salah satu produk yang dihasilkan adalah Cylinder Head Cover (CHC). Dari penelitian yang dilakukan terlihat pengendalian kualitas pada produksi CHC masih belum mampu memenuhi target yang ditetapkan perusahaan .Untuk mengatasi masalah pengendalian kualitas, maka pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode Statistical Processing Control (SPC) dan Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). SPC merupakan sebuah teknik statistik yang digunakan secara luas untuk memastikan bahwa proses memenuhi standar. FMEA merupakan salah satu metode yang digunakan untuk pengendalian kualitas dalam proses fabrikasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang dilakukan pengendalian kualitas pada produksi CHC belum dapat terkendali hal ini diakibatkan oleh tingginya tingkat kecacatan produk yang disebabkan oleh kecacatan Blowpipe Burry dengan presentase kecacatan sebesar 42.93% dan Stamp Part Number Blur dengan presentase sebesar 21,03%, penyebab potensi kegagalan yang terjadi disebabkan karena Pengecekan area Blowpipe hanya berdasarkan visual serta Stopper Box menggores area part number dengan nilai RPN masing-masing sebesar 280 dan 90, usulan perbaikan berupa membuat alat bantu pegecekan area Blowpipe dan menambahkan item pengecekan area Blowpipe pada lembar instruksi kerja serta memodifikasi Stopper Box dan memastikan tidak menyentuh area Part Number. Toyota Boshoku Indonesia is a manufacturing company that manufactures automotive parts and interiors, one of the products produced is the Cylinder Head Cover (CHC). From the research carried out it appears that quality control in CHC production has not been able to meet the desired target of the company. To overcome the problem of quality control, this research uses Statistical Processing Control (SPC) and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) methods. SPC is a statistical technique that is widely used to ensure that processes meet standards. FMEA is one of the methods used for quality control in the fabrication process. Based on the results of the analysis conducted quality control on CHC production cannot be controlled yet this is due to the high level of product defect caused by Blowpipe Burry disability with a percentage of disability of 42.93% and Stamp Part Number Blur with a percentage of 21.03%, the cause of potential failures This is caused by checking the Blowpipe area only based on visuals and Stopper Box scratching the part number area with an RPN value of 280 and 90 respectively, the proposed improvement in the form of making a Blowpipe area checking tool and adding Blowpipe area checking items on the work instruction sheet and modifying the Stopper Box and make sure it doesn't touch the Part Number area.
