Abstract
The main purpose of this study was to determine the effect of discipline and motivation on employee performance with work stress as the intervening variable of PT. NIPSEA PAINT AND CHEMICALS JAKARTA by using a quantitative descriptive approach. The data in the study were obtained from 134 respondents who are employees of PT. NIPSEA PAINT AND CHEMICALS JAKARTA. Data analysis in this study used an alternative method of structural equation modeling (SEM), namely partial least squares (PLS). The first stage in this study is to test the validity of the questions for each of the following variables and their reliability. The second stage examines the relationship between discipline and motivation on employee performance with work stress as an intervening variable. The results of this study state that work discipline variables have an effect on performance, work motivation has an effect on performance, discipline has a effect on work stress, motivation, motivation has a effect on work stress and work stress has an effect on performance. . Keywords: Work Discipline, Work Motivation, Job Stress, Performance Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh disiplin dan motivasi terhadap Kinerja karyawan dengan stress kerja sebagai variable intervening PT. NIPSEA PAINT AND CHEMICALS JAKARTA dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Data dalam penelitian diperoleh dari 134 responden yang merupakan karyawan PT. NIPSEA PAINT AND CHEMICALS JAKARTA. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode alternative dari structural equation modeling (SEM) yaitu partial least square (PLS). Tahap pertama dalam penelitian ini untuk menguji validitas pertanyaan setiap variabel berikut dengan reliabilitasnya. Tahap kedua menguji hubungan disiplin dan motivasi terhadap Kinerja karyawan dengan stress kerja sebagai variable intervening. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa variabel disiplin kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja, motivasi kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja, Disiplin berpengaruh terhadap Stres Kerja, Motivasi berpengaruh terhadap Stres Kerja dan Stres Kerja berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja. .
