Abstract

The Distribution system is part of electrical power system that serves to deliver electricity from 150/20 kV Substationto consumers. Pudakpayung 60 MVA Substation has 5 feeders, in 2016 there is a new feeder with code PDP 5.One form of fault inthe power distribution system is short circuit. To overcome the short circuit in the distribution system require a reliable protection system. Relay setting and relay coordination is one of the requirements of protection system reliability.This final project evaluating the relay setting and relay coordination of OCR, GFR and Recloser Pudakpayung Substation feeder after the addition of feeder PDP 5. The evaluation results using ETAP 12.6.0 shows the condition of the existing coordination between the relay protection equipment at feeder PDP when there is a maximum current fault with incoming relay TMS value OCR=0,3 and GFR=0,43also outgoing relay TMS value OCR = 0,27 and GFR = 0,41.The existing protection coordination is not in accordance with the IEEE 242-1986standard by the grading time 0.3-0.4seconds and there is no coordination curves precede and overlap. After the relay coordination adjusted by changing the Iset and TMS of the relay so the incoming relay TMS value OCR=0,423and GFR=0,545;outgoing relayPDP 2TMS value OCR = 0,389and GFR = 0,448; and outgoing relay PDP 1,3,4,5,6 OCR = 0,34 and GFR = 0,415.Keywords: Distribution System, short circuit fault, relay, recloser Sistem distribusi merupakan bagian dari sistem tenaga listrik yang berfungsi untuk menyalurkan tenaga listrik dari Gardu Induk 150/20 kV ke konsumen. GISPudakpayung 60 MVA mempunyai 5 penyulang, pada tahun 2016 dilakukan penambahan penyulang yaitupenyulang PDP 5. Salah satu bentuk gangguan yang terjadi pada sistem distribusi tenaga listrik adalah gangguan hubung singkat. Untuk mengatasi gangguan hubung singkat pada sistem distribusi maka diperlukansistem proteksi yang handal. Setting relaydan koordinasi relayadalah salah satu syarat keandalan sistem proteksi. Pada tugas akhir ini dilakukan evaluasi setting proteksi OCR, GFR dan recloser penyulang GISPudakpayung setelah adanya penambahan penyulang PDP 5. Hasil evaluasi dengan menggunakan program ETAP 12.6.0 menunjukkan kondisi eksisting koordinasi relayantar peralatan proteksi pada penyulang PDP ketika terjadi gangguan pada arus gangguan maksimal dengan nilai TMS relayIncoming OCR = 0,3 dan GFR = 0,43 serta nilai TMS relayoutgoing OCR = 0,27 dan GFR=0,41. Koordinasi proteksi kondisi eksisting belum sesuai dengan standar IEEE 242-1986 dimana grading time antar peralatan proteksi adalah 0,3-0,4detik dan tidak ada kurva koordinasi yangsaling memotong dan mendahului. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan koordinasi relaydengan mengubah Iset dan TMS relaysehingga nilai TMS relayincoming OCR= 0,423dan GFR= 0,545;nilai TMS relayoutgoing PDP 2 OCR=0,389dan GFR = 0,448; dan nilai TMS relay outgoing PDP 1,3,4,5,6 = OCR = 0,34,dan GFR = 0,415.Kata kunci : Sistem Distribusi, Gangguan Hubung Singkat,Relay, Recloser
