Abstract
PT. Tembaga Mulia Semanan, Tbk SCR BU (Southwire Continuous Rod Business Unit)is one of company copper manufacture produce copper wire. Sickness cause high working load, production target not achieve and attadance problem is one of employee internal company problem. Subject of this research is all employee which working in production section (total 24 person). The workloads measured is physical and mentally workload, physically workload measure by cardiovascular load (CVL) and mentally workload measure by NASA method – Task Load Index (NASA – TLX) the purpose of this research to measure the level of physically and mentally workload in line process production and cause from physically and mentally workload. Based on the result of analysis CVL, the employee which received the physically workload needed to improve is all operator within percentage CVL above 30%. The highest CVL percentage on section rolling mill 68%. While from result of analysis NASA – TLX obtained 15 operator with highly category workload, 9 employee with medium category. Within average WWL (Weighted Workload), amounting 62.54% and aspect NASA - TLX the highest is MN (Mentally Demand). Both of measurement method workload, there is CVL and NASA – TLX get result different analysis cause element work received by operator is different. Tembaga Mulia Semanan, Tbk SCR BU (Southwire Continuous Rod Business Unit) merupakan salah satu perusahaaan yang bergerak dibidang manufaktur, yaitu perusahaan yang memproduksi kawat tembaga. Terjadinya sakit akibat kerja dan tidak tercapai target produksi dan kehadiran (attendance) adalah salah satu penyebab terjadinya masalah internal perusahaan terutama pada operator perusahaan tersebut. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan yang bekerja di lantai produksi yaitu 24 orang operator. Beban kerja yang di ukur adalah beban kerja fisik dan mental. Beban kerja fisik diukur berdasarkan cardio vascular load (CVL) dan beban kerja mental diukur dengan metode NASA –Task Load Index (NASA– TLX). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengukur tingkat beban kerja fisik dan mental di lantai produksi dan penyebab dari beban kerja fisik dan mental tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil analisis CVL, karyawan yang menerima beban kerja fisik yang perlu perbaikan adalah semua operator dengan persentase CVL diatas 30%. Persentase CVL yang paling tinggi di bagian rolling mill 68%. Sedangkan dari hasil analisis NASA – TLX diperoleh 15 operator dengan kategori beban kerja tinggi, 9 karyawan dengan kategori sedang. Dengan rata-rata WWL (Weighted Workload) sebesar 62.54% dan aspek NASA-TLX yang paling tinggi adalah KM (kebutuhan mental). Kedua metode pengukuran beban kerja, yaitu CVL dan NASA-TLX mendapatkan hasil analisis yang berbeda karena elemen kerja yang diterima operator berbeda.
