Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of employee engagement and reward for career development and its implications on employee motivation at Center for Policy Analysis and Harmonization (Pushaka), Secretariat General of The Ministry of Finance. The method used in this study is quantitative research with a causality research approach. The population in this study were all employees in Pushaka, which amounts to 120 employees. The data analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Lisrel, sample of research uses saturated samples, so the research is population research. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence of employee engagement on career development at Pushaka, there is positive and significant influence of reward on career development at Pushaka, there is positive and significant influence of employee engagement on employee motivation at Pushaka, there is a positive and significant influence of reward on employee motivation at Pushaka, and there is an influence of career development on employee motivation at Pushaka. Keywords: Employee Engagement, Reward, Career Development, Employee Motivation Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh keterlibatan pegawai dan penghargaan terhadap pengembangan karir serta implikasinya pada motivasi pegawai Pusat Analisis dan Harmonisasi Kebijakan, Sekretariat Jenderal Kementerian Keuangan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan hubungan sebab akibat (causality research). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua pegawai di lingkungan Pusat Analisis dan Harmonisasi Kebijakan, Sekretariat Jenderal Kementerian Keuangan yang berjumlah 120 pegawai. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan Lisrel, sampel penelitian menggunakan sampel jenuh, sehingga penelitiannya merupakan penelitian populasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan keterlibatan pegawai terhadap pengembangan karir di Pusat Analisis dan Harmonisasi Kebijakan, terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan penghargaan terhadap pengembangan karir di Pusat Analisis dan Harmonisasi Kebijakan, terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan keterlibatan pegawai terhadap motivasi kerja pegawai di Pusat Analisis dan Harmonisasi Kebijakan, terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan penghargaan terhadap motivasi kerja pegawai di Pusat Analisis dan Harmonisasi Kebijakan, dan terdapat pengaruh pengembangan karir terhadap motivasi pegawai di Pusat Analisis dan Harmonisasi Kebijakan.
