Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of profit efficiency of alternative commercial banks, analyze the effect of interest expense prices, total loans, earning assets other than credit, net contingency commitments, physical capital and non-performing loans to alternative efficiency gains of commercial banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2008-2017 . The efficiency analysis in this research uses an alternative profit approach to measure how close a bank is to achieving maximum profit with a certain level of output, not the price level of output. The data analysis method used in this study is panel data using the Distribution Free Approach method as one of the approaches developed by Berger to calculate the value of the efficiency of a bank is a development carried out by Berger on the SFA method. By using the Parametric Distribution Free Approach method in terms of the efficiency benefits of 23 alternative commercial banks operating for 10 years (2008-2007), the average efficiency of alternative profit banks in Indonesia is 0.773856. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat efisiensi keuntungan alternatif bank umum , menganalisis pengaruh harga beban bunga, total kredit, aktiva produktif selain kredit, net komitmen kontijensi, modal fisik dan non performing loan terhadap alternatif profit efisiensi bank umum yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2008-2017. Analisis efisiensi pada penelitan ini menggunakan pendekatan alternatif profit untuk mengukur seberapa dekat suatu bank kepada perolehan profit maksimum dengan tingkat output tertentu, bukan tingkat harga dari output. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data panel dengan menggunakan metode Distribution Free Approach sebagai salah satu pendekatan yang dikembangkan oleh Berger untuk menghitung nilai efisiensi suatu bank merupakan pengembangan yang dilakukan Berger terhadap metode SFA. Dengan menggunakan metode parametrik Distribution Free Approach dilihat dari sisi efisiensi keuntungan alternatif 23 bank umum yang beroperasi selama 10 tahun (2008-2007), rata-rata efisiensi keuntungan alternatif bank di Indonesia adalah 0,773856.
