Abstract
This study aims to determine the influence of liquidity, company size, and interest rates on financial distress during COVID-19 in retail sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2022. The sample was determined using the Purposive Sampling method. There are 30 retail companies that meet the criteria, so that the total sample obtained is 120. The research used in this study is descriptive with a quantitative approach with the analysis methods used are classical assumptions and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that simultaneously liquidity, company size, and interest rates have an effect on financial distress. Then, partially liquidity has a significant positive effect and interest rates have a significant negative effect. Meanwhile, company size has no effect on financial distress during COVID-19. Keywords: Liquidity, Company Size, Interest Rate, Financial Distress Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pangaruh likuiditas, ukuran perusahaan, dan suku bunga terhadap financial distress selama COVID 19 pada perusahaan sektor retail yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2019-2022. Penentuan sampel menggunakan metode Purposive Sampling. Terdapat 30 perusahaan ritel menuhi kriteria, sehingga total sampel yang didapatkan sebanyak 120. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode analisis yang digunakan adalah asumsi klasik dan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan likuiditas, ukuran perusahaan, dan suku bunga berpengaruh terhadap financial distress. Kemudian, secara parsial likuiditas berpengaruh positif signifikan dan suku bunga berpengaruh negatif signifikan. Sedangkan, ukuran perusahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap financial distress selama COVID19. Kata Kunci: Likuiditas, Ukuran Perusahaan, Suku Bunga, Financial Distress
