Abstract

Organizing Meeting, Incentive, Convention and Exhibition (MICE) events is part of event tourism which is a business with high tourism spending value supported by tourism infrastructure and facilities with special standards. Currently, the city of Bandung is one of the cities in Indonesia which is a destination for holding MICE events. The holding of this MICE event is characterized by frequent business activities such as meetings, seminars, conferences, exhibitions and other activities, both formal and nonformal. Regarding infrastructure and facilities in the form of the MICE Building which will be built by PT. KAI's vision is to develop KAI's human resource competencies through organizing training programs intended for KAI workers, including drivers, conductors, and other railway professions needed to achieve the company's business goals and to face challenges in an everchanging market. Located on Jalan Laswi, Bandung City, with an organic architectural concept that strengthens the character of the planning land by preserving the function of RTH (Green Open Space) and significant vegetation. Organic architecture is an architectural philosophy that promotes harmony between human habitation and nature, through designs that harmoniously bring together the location of the building, furniture and the environment to become part of one composition, united and interconnected. Keywords: MICE Building, Bandung City, Laswi, Organic Architecture Penyelenggaraan event Meeting, Incentive, Convention and Exhibition (MICE) merupakan bagian dari pariwisata event yang menjadi bisnis dengan nilai belanja wisata yang tinggi dengan didukungnya infrastruktur dan fasilitas pariwisata dengan standar khusus. Saat ini kota Bandung menjadi salah satu kota di Indonesia yang menjadi destinasi penyelenggaraan event MICE. Penyelenggaraan event MICE ini ditandai dengan adanya kegiatan bisnis yang sering dilakukan seperti pertemuan, seminar, konferensi, pameran dan kegiatan lainnya baik yang bersifat formal maupun non formal. Berkaitan dengan infrastruktur dan fasilitas berupa Gedung MICE yang akan dibangun oleh pihak PT. KAI dalam visi pengembangan kompetensi SDM KAI melalui penyelenggaraan program diklat yang diperuntukkan untuk para pekerja KAI, baik masinis, kondektur, hingga profesi perkeretaapian lainnya diperlukan untuk mencapai tujuan bisnis perusahaan dan untuk menghadapi tantangan di pasar yang terus berubah. Berlokasikan di Jalan Laswi kota Bandung dengan konsep arsitektur organic yang memperkuat karakter lahan perencanaan dengan melestarikan fungsi RTH (Ruang Terbuka Hijau) dan vegetasi yang signifikan. Arsitektur organik adalah sebuah filosofi arsitektur yang mengangkat keselarasan antara tempat tinggal manusia dan alam, melalui desain yang mendekatkan dengan harmonis antara lokasi bangunan, perabot, dan lingkungan menjadi bagian dari satu komposisi, dipersatukan dan saling berhubungan.
