Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effects of Job Stress and Work Engagement on Employee Performance of SMESCO Indonesia. This type of quantitative research with a population of all employees of SMESCO Indonesia. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The research subjects were 95 employees of SMESCO Indonesia. Data analysis used multiple linear regression with SPSS version 20 program. The data analysis is used to test hypotheses using correlation and multiple regression tests, while additional analysis is also done in the form of t test and one-way ANOVA test. The results showed that job stress had a significant negative effect on performance and work engagement had a significant positive effect on employee performance at SMESCO Indonesia. It is suggested to carry out a policy program to increase employee work engagement, and provide counseling for employees to reduce work stress. Keywords: Job Stress, Work Engagement and Performance Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh Stres Kerja dan Keterikatan Kerja terhadap Kinerja Karyawan SMESCO Indonesia. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan populasi seluruh karyawan SMESCO Indonesia. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Subjek penelitian adalah karyawan SMESCO Indonesia yang berjumlah 95 responden. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linear berganda dengan program SPSS versi 20. Analisis data untuk menguji hipotesis menggunakan uji korelasi dan regresi berganda, selain itu dilakukan juga analisa tambahan berupa uji t dan uji ANOVA satu arah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa stres kerja berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap kinerja dan keterikatan kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan SMESCO Indonesia. Disarankan agar melakukan program kebijakan dalam peningkatan keterikatan kerja karyawan, dan memberikan konseling bagi karyawan untuk mengurangi stres kerja.
