Abstract

As living beings who live with nature, humans must protect the environment. If humans caNnot protect the environment, it will have an impact on humans. only 20 percent of the total Indonesian people care about hygiene and health. This proves that public awareness of environmental cleanliness is still considered low. If this low level of awereness continues, it will have an impact on environmental sustainability in the future. Therefore, a media reminders are needed to increase public awareness of the importance of maintaining environmental sustainability. The media chosen for this project are online comic. Online comics were chosen because they can visualize an idea or message that you want to convey more clearly. In the making of this online comic using digital techniques. Keywords : environment, hygiene, online comic Sebagai mahluk hidup yang bergantung dengan alam, manusia sudah seharusnya menjaga kelestarian lingkungan. Bila manusia tidak dapat menjaga kelestarian lingkungan, maka akan berdampak kembali kepada manusia. Diketahui hanya 20 persen dari total masyarakat Indonesia yang peduli terhadap kebersihan dan kesehatan. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa kesadaran masyarakat akan kebersihan lingkungan dinilai masih rendah. Jika tingkat kepedulian yang rendah ini terus berlanjut maka akan berdampak pada keberlangsungan lingkungan hidup di masa mendatang. Oleh karena itu media pengingat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya menjaga keberlangsungan lingkungan hidup. Media yang dipilih untuk hal tersebut adalah media komik online. Dipilihnya komik online karena Komik dapat memvisualisasikan sebuah ide atau pesan yang ingin disampaikan dengan lebih jelas. Dalam pembuatan perancangan ini menggunakan teknik digital. Kata kunci : lingkungan, kebersihan, komik online.
