Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of capital structure, company size, liquidity, profitability, activity ratio and sales growth on the value of consumer goods sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research data is annual data for the observation period of 2012-2017 obtained from the company's annual report. The sampling method used was purposive sampling. Of the population of 51 companies, 36 companies met the criteria as samples. The analytical method used in this study is panel data regression using the Fixed Effect model with R2 value of 70.37 percent. The results of the study show that invertase decisions, dividend and liquidity policies do not affect the value of the company, while funding decisions, and profitability have a positive effect on firm value. The implication in this study is that companies need to pay attention to funding decisions and profitability because both are proven to have a positive effect on firm value. Keywords: investment decisions, dividend policy, funding decisions, profitability, liquidity, company value Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh struktur modal, ukuran perusahaan, likuiditas, profitabilitas, rasio aktivitas dan pertumbuhan penjualan terhadap nilai perusahaan sektor barang konsumsi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Data penelitian merupakan data tahunan untuk periode observasi tahun 2012-2017 yang diperoleh dari laporan tahunan perusahaan. Metode sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Dari populasi 51 perusahaan, 36 perusahaan memenuhi kriteria sebagai sampel. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi data panel menggunakan model Fixed Effect dengan nilai R2 sebesar 70,37 persen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keputusan invertase, kebijakan dividend dan likuiditas tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan, sedangkan keputusan pendanaan, dan profitabilitas berpengaruh positif terhadap nilai perusahaan. Implikasi dalam penelitian ini adalah bahwa perusahaan perlu memperhatikan keputusan pendanaan dan profitabilitas karena keduanya terbukti berpengaruh positif terhadap nilai perusahaan.
