Abstract

Whastapp social media or commonly known by people as WA (WHATSAPP), is a popular term for a means of communication. In this globalization era, Whastapp social media is a communication and information media that is really needed by all groups, from children to adults, and from students to workers. Researchers conducted a number of working groups of Kembangan Sports Teachers, West Jakarta and the results of the results of a number of speakers at the West Jakarta Sports Teachers Working Group said that the application most frequently opened and used when first using a mobile phone was to see the Whastapp application. In this study the researchers used quantitative descriptive research methods. By using non-probability sampling techniques researchers also use data collection techniques by distributing uniform questionnaires to each respondent The results of this study can be known that almost most of all respondents have positive effectiveness of respondents who responded positively to the use of whatsapp applications that provide reception or use of messages, content, timeliness, packaging formats, sources and media about the effectiveness of using whatsapp as information exchange for teachers and sports Kembangan. Keywords: Quantitative, Effectiveness, Whatsapp, Descriptive Media sosial Whastapp atau yang biasa di kenal orang dengan sebutan WA (WHATSAPP), merupakan istilah populer untuk sarana berkomunikasi. Di era globalisasi ini, media sosial Whastapp merupakan sebuah media komunikasi dan informasi yang sangat diperlukan oleh semua kalangan, dari kalangan anak – anak hingga dewasa, dan dari pelajar hingga pekerja. Peneliti melakukan terhadap beberapa kelompok kerja guru olahraga kembangan, Jakarta barat dan hasil dari hasil beberapa narasumber Kelompok Kerja Guru olahraga kembangan Jakarta barat mengatakan bahwa aplikasi yang paling sering dibuka dan digunakan pada saat pertama menggunakan handphone adalah melihat aplikasi Whastapp. Dalam penelitian kali ini peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif bersifat dekriptif. Dengan menggunakan teknik non probability sampling peneliti juga menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan menyebarkan kuesioner yang seragam pada Setiap responden Hasil penelitian dapat diketahui hampir sebagian besar dari seluruh responden memiliki Efektivitas positif responden yang menjawab positif terhadap pengunaan aplikasi whatsapp yang memberikan penerimaan atau pemakaian pesan, isi, ketepatan waktu,format kemasan, sumber dan media tentang efektivitas pengunaan whatsapp sebagai pertukaran informasi Guru Sdn Olahraga kec Kembangan.
