Abstract
Geopark is a new tourist spot which is currently the center of attention of both foreign and domestic tourists. Geopark is a geological area that has scientific value (knowledge) that is rarely found in other places. This area has its own uniqueness, in addition to being a place for natural-cultural recreation. However, this potential is not supported by a place of rest in the form of a place to stay, a place to stay and adequate supporting facilities. This is the background of the planning and design of the Hotel & Villa along with other facilities to support tourists who come to the Ciletuh Geopark area. This Hotel & Villa development uses the theme "Neo Vernacular" which means mixing modernization elements with the local wisdom of the Sukabumi area. This theme is perfect for introducing local culture to tourists who come. The design by applying this theme is expected to be able to minimize the negative impact of a modern building on a cultural building. Keywords: Hotel, Villa, Vernacular, Geopark, Ciletuh Geopark merupakan tempat wisata baru yang saat ini menjadi pusat perhatian wisatawan asing maupun domestic. Geopark merpakan Kawasan geologi yang mempunyai nilai ilmiah (pengetahuan) yang jarang ditemui di tempat lain. Kawasan tersebut, memiliki keunikan tersendiri, yaitu selain menjadi tempat rekreasi alam – budaya, Namun potensi ini tidak didukung oleh tempat istirahat berupa tempat tinggal, tempat menginap serta fasilitas pendukung yang memadai. Hal inilah yang melatar belakangi perencanaan dan perancangan Hotel & Villa beserta fasilitas – fasilitas lainnya untuk menunjang para wisatawan yang datang ke wilayah Geopark Ciletuh. Pembangunan Hotel & Villa ini menggunakan tema “ Neo Vernakular “ yang berarti menyampurkan untsur modernisasi dengan kearifan local area Sukabumi tersebut. Tema ini sangat cocok untuk memperkenalkan budaya local kepada wisatawan yang datang. Perancangan dengan menerapkan tema ini diharapkan mampu meminimalisir dampak negative suatu bangunan modern terhadap sebuah bangunan budaya. Kata Kunci : Hotel, Villa, Vernakular, Geopark, Ciletuh
