Abstract

Vila and Hotel buildings are support facilities for tourism activities as well as one type of accommodation that utilizes part or all of the buildings to provide accommodation for publicly-operated public services while taking into account the building's shape that is capable of displaying local features. Central Java has pure values that have existed since the past, both formally and informally in the public life. The concept of the building used is the approach of the Green Architecture concept and the Neo-Vernacular concept. The Green Architecture Building is a building that meets the building needs and has measurable performance in saving energy, water and other resources through the use of the Green Architecture principle according to its function and classification at each stage of its implementation. Although the Neo-Vernacular building is a building with an approach which means a new form with a fixed meaning, the appearance of Neo-Vernacular architecture can present a new form in terms of the old elements that are renewed, so it is not separated at all because there is a new interpretation of the old form then given meaning long to avoid (cultural shock). Bangunan Vila dan Hotel merupakan sarana pendukung kegiatan pariwisata dan juga merupakan salah satu jenis akomodasi yang mempergunakan sebagian atau seluruh bangunan untuk menyediakan jasa penginapan bagi umum yang dikelola secara komersial dengan tetap mempertimbangkan bentuk bangunan yang mampu menampilkan ciri khas/identitas daerah setempat. Jawa Tengah memiliki nilai-nilai luhur yang telah melekat sejak masa lalu baik yang tercermin secara formal maupun informal dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Konsep bangunan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan konsep Green Architecture dan konsep Neo-Vernakular. Bangunan Green Architectureialah bangunan yang memenuhi persyaratan bangunan gedung dan memiliki kinerja terukur secara signifikan dalam penghematan energi, air, dan sumber daya lainnya melalui penerapan prinsip Green Architecture sesuai dengan fungsi dan klasifikasi dalam setiap tahapan penyelenggaraannya. Sedangkan bangunan Neo-Vernakular adalah bangunan dengan pendekatan yang memiliki arti bentuk baru dengan makna tetap, penampilan bentukan arsitektur Neo-Vernakular dapat menghadirkan bentuk baru dalam pengertian unsur-unsur lama yang diperbaharui, jadi tidak lepas sama sekali karena terjadi interpretasi baru terhadap bentuk lama yang kemudian diberi makna yang lama untuk menghindari kejutan budaya (culture shock).
