Abstract
Pandemi Covid-19 yang terjadi di tahun 2020 membuat seluruh sektor perekonomian stagnan atau mengalami kemunduran, dan bidang industri pariwisata merupakan salah satu yang terdampak oleh pandemi ini. Larangan berpergian keluar daerah selama pandemi Covid-19 membuat masyarakat hanya dapat berpergian di dalam daerah atau lokal, selain itu pandemi Covid-19 juga menyebabkan penghasilan masyarakat berkurang sehingga berwisata dirasa menjadi lebih sulit. Salah satu wilayah di Indonesia yaitu Kaliurang yang terkenal dengan berbagai tempat wisatanya menjadi salah satu daerah yang terdampak pandemi Covid-19, padahal Kaliurang merupakan salah satu daerah yang terkenal karena keindahan alam dan kesejukannya sehingga amat disayangkan apabila dikarenakan pandemi Covid-19 yang terjadi ini potensi wisata kawasan Kaliurang jadi tidak dapat dinikmati dengan maksimal oleh masyarakat Indonesia, maupun mancanegara. Perancangan Vila dan Hotel ‘Ngomahake’ diharapkan dapat sedikit banyak membantu membuka kesempatan baru dalam bidang ekonomi dan pariwisata bagi masyarakat sekitar kawasan Kaliurang, Sleman, dengan membuka kesempatan kerja sama dan lapangan kerja. Diharapkan ‘Ngomahake’ Vilatel dapat membuat betah para pengunjung yang mendatangi dan menghabiskan waktu di Vilatel ini, dan sesuai harapan dapat membuat pengunjung merasa nyaman dan dapat menikmati keindahan alam sekitar. Dengan mengusung tema Neo Vernakular diharapkan bahwa bangunan dengan konsep modern yang dipadukan dengan budaya lokal Jawa tengah dapat membuat pengunjung merasakan kembali kearifan lokal dengan konsep yang lebih modern. Kata Kunci: Vila, Hotel, Neo Venakular, Kearifan Lokal, Kaliurang. The Covid-19 pandemic that occurred in 2020 made all sectors of the economy stagnate or experienced a setback, and the tourism industry was one of the areas affected by this pandemic. prohibitions of traveling outside the region during the Covid-19 pandemic made people only able to travel within the region or locally, besides that the Covid-19 pandemic also caused people's income to decrease, so traveling was felt more difficult. One of the regions in Indonesia, namely Kaliurang which is famous for its various tourist attractions, has become one of the areas affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, even though Kaliurang is one of the areas that is famous for its natural beauty and coolness, so it is very unfortunate if due to the Covid-19 pandemic this potential tourism in the Kaliurang area cannot be fully enjoyed by Indonesians and foreigners. We hopes that the design of the 'Ngomahake' Villa and Hotel will help open up new opportunities in the economic and tourism sector for the people around the Kaliurang area, Sleman, by opening opportunities for coöperation and employment. We hope that 'Ngomahake' Vilatel can make visitors who come and spend time in Vilatel feel at home, and as expected it can make visitors feel at ease and enjoy the natural beauty around. By carrying out the theme of Neo Vernacular, we hope that the building with a modern concept combined with the local culture of Central Java can make visitors feel back the local wisdom with a more modern concept.
