Abstract
This research aimed to determine, analyze and develop a framework related to the influence of competence, motivation, compensation, leadership, career development on organizational commitment with mediating variable, namely job satisfaction in the Private College of LLDIKTI area IV in Banten This research used quantitative methods with total sample of 330 people. Samples were taken from a lecturer population spread across several private vocational school in Banten, namely, Serang City, South Tangerang City, Tangerang City, Tangerang Regency, Pandeglang Regency, Lebak Regency, and Cilegon City. The analytical tool used in this study was SEM. The result of this research showed all hypotheses were accepted. Leadership was the strongest variable correlation with satisfaction variable, followed by compensation, career development, motivation, and competence. Satisfaction variable was the strongest correlation with organizational commitment variable. The novelty of this research by adding one dimension, namely the Islamic spiritual of the motivation variable. The results showed the dimension has a role in job satisfaction and lecturer organizational commitment. Key words: Competence, Motivation, Compensation, Leadership, Career Development, Work Satisfaction, Organizational Commitment Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui, menganalisis, dan mengembangkan kerangka terkait pengaruh kompetensi, motivasi, kompensasi, kepemimpinan, serta pengembangan karir terhadap komitmen organisasi dengan variabel mediasi yaitu kepuasan kerja di lingkungan Perguruan Tinggi Swasta (PTS) LLDIKTI IV di Banten. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan total sampel sebanyak 330 responden. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil dari populasi dosen tetap yang tersebar di Provinsi Banten seperti Kota Serang, Kota Tangerang Selatan, Kota Tangerang, Kabupaten Tangerang, Kabupaten Pandeglang, Kabupaten Lebak, dan Kota Cilegon. Alat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan SEM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh hipotesis penelitian ini diterima. Variabel kepemimpinan merupakan variabel yang memiliki hubungan paling kuat dengan varibel kepuasan kerja disusul dengan variabel kompensasi, pengembangan karir, motivasi, dan kompetensi. Variabel kepuasan merupakan variabel yang memiliki hubungan paling kuat dengan komitmen organisasi. Penelitian ini menambah satu dimensi dari variabel motivasi yaitu spiritual Islam, yang menunjukkan dimensi motivasi spiritual Islam memiliki peran terhadap kepuasan dan komitmen organisasi.
