Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work performance appraisal, work experience and personality on employee career development. The populations in this study were 78 employees of PT. Sunggong Logistics. The sample used was 78 employees. The sampling method uses saturated sampling technique. The data collection method used survey method with the research instrument was a questionnaire. Methods of data analysis using Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of the analysis show that the work performance appraisal, work experience, and personality have a positive and significant effect on career development. Suggestions for the management of PT. Sunggong Logistics to make improvements during work performance appraisal and to include employees in job training to improve employee skills and for all employees of PT. Sunggong Logistics is recommended to create a comfortable work environment, and build good communication for fellow employees and with the stakeholders involved. Keyword: Work Performance Appraisal, Work Experience, Personality, Employee Career Development. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penilaian prestasi kerja, pengalaman kerja dan kepribadian terhadap pengembangan karier karyawan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 78 karyawan PT. Sunggong Logistics. Sampel yang dipergunakan sebanyak 78 karyawan. Metode penarikan sampel menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode survey dengan instrumen penelitian adalah kuesioner. Metode analisis data menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa penilaian prestasi kerja, pengalaman kerja, dan kepribadian berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pengembangan karier. Saran bagi manajemen PT. Sunggong Logistics agar melakukan perbaikan saat penilaian prestasi kerja dan mengikutsertakan karyawan pada pelatihan kerja untuk meningkatkan keterampilan karyawan dan bagi seluruh karyawan PT. Sunggong Logistics disarankan agar menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang nyaman, dan membangun komunikasi yang baik bagi sesama karyawan maupun dengan stakeholder yang terlibat. Kata Kunci: Penilaian Prestasi Kerja, Pengalaman Kerja, Kepribadian, Pengembangan Karier.
