Abstract
Penelitian ini untuk menguji pengaruh leadership behaviors terhadap value chain pada industri manufaktur. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh leadership behaviors: transformasional, transaksional dan pasif terhadap value chain pada industri manufaktur. Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ-5X) adalah instrumen yang digunakan untuk menilai leadership behaviors sebagai transformasional, transaksional dan pasif. Dalam penelitian ini leadership didefinisikan sebagai perilaku seseorang leader untuk mempengaruhi orang lain dengan cara transformasional, transaksional dan pasif didalam industri manufaktur. Value chain adalah rantai nilai yang digunakan untuk mengetahui proses internal dalam industri manufaktur. Value chain tidak diukur secara langsung, tetapi berdasarkan persepsi leaders terhadap value chain. Metode analisis dan pengujian yang digunakan untuk mengetahui pengaruh leadership behaviors terhadap value chain adalah analisis korelasi, regresi dan hipotesis. Dari analisis dan pengujian dihasilkan leadership behaviors: transformasional dan transaksional memiliki pengaruh positif yang berarti terhadap aktivitas value chain pada industri manufaktur. Sedangkan leadership behaviors pasif memiliki pengaruh negatif yang berarti terhadap aktivitas value chain pada industri manufaktur. Secara keseluruhan ternyata leadership behaviors: transformasional, transaksional dan pasif memiliki pengaruh positif yang berarti terhadap aktivitas value chain pada industri manufaktur. Hasil ini konsisten dengan hipotesis yang diperkirakan. Kata Kunci: Leadership behaviors, value chain dan industri manufaktur This research was comed out to test the influence of leadership behaviors toward the value chain in manufacturing industry. The purpose of this research is to know how to influence leadership behaviors: transformational, transactional and passive toward the value chain in manufacturing industry. The Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ-5X) is used as the instrument to assess leadership behaviors as transformational, transactional and passive. In this research leadership is defined as a leader for one's behavior affects others in ways transformational, transactional and passive in the manufacturing industry. Value chain is a string value used to detect the internal processes in manufacturing. Value chain is not measured directly, but leaders perception toward the value chain. Analysis and testing methods that used to determine the effect leadership behaviors toward the value chain is correlation analysis, regression and hypothesis. From the resulting analysis and testing of leadership behaviors: transformational and transactional have a significant positive toward the value chain activities in manufacturing industry. While leadership behaviors: passive has significant negative toward the value chain activities in manufacturing industry. Overall it leadership behaviors: transformational, transactional and passive have a significant positive toward the value chain activities in manufacturing industry.
