Abstract
This study aims to analyze the emotional representation of a character from the game Honkai: Star Rail, namely Robin, as reflected in the song album "INSIDE", which is available on various music streaming platforms such as Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Spotify. The focus of this study is to understand the emotional aspects of Robin's character as conveyed through the lyrics contained in the "INSIDE" album, specifically: Sway to My Beat in Cosmos, If I Can Stop One Heart From Breaking, and Sway to My Beat in Cosmos. Employing the theoretical framework of Ferdinand de Saussure and a constructivism paradigm, the researcher identified distinct emotional aspects across the three songs examined, namely happiness, sadness, and love. Keywords: Emotional, Emotion, Representation, Song, Song Lyrics. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis representasi emosional karakter yang ada di game Honkai Star Rail, yaitu Robin terhadap album lagu “INSIDE”, yang dimana, lagu ini tersedia di berbagai platform streaming musik seperti Apple Music, Youtube Music, dan Spotify. Fokus dari penelitian ini adalah, untuk dapat memahami aspek-aspek emosi karakter Robin dalam lirik yang terdapat pada album lagu “INSIDE” yaitu: Sway to Beat In Cosmos, If I Can Stop One Heart From Breaking, dan Sway To Beat Cosmos. Menggunakan teori dari Ferdinand De Saussure dan menggunakan paradigma konstruktivisme, peneliti menemukan adanya aspek-aspek emosi yang berbeda terhadap ketiga lagu yang diteliti. Diantarnya adalah, kebahagiaan, kesedihan, dan cinta. Kata Kunci: Emosional, Emosi, Representasi, Lagu, Lirik Lagu.
