Abstract
The Instagram account @lautbercerita, in the comments section, engages in an approach through various fantasies which are then developed to build cohesive group communication. This study focuses on two questions: How are fantasy themes created through the comments section on the posts of the account @lautbercerita? And what symbolic elements are formed on the Instagram account @lautbercerita? The purpose of this study is to analyze the functions and symbolic meanings of fantasy themes on the @lautbercerita account. The Literature Review consists of 6 previous studies. The theoretical framework includes Communication, Novels, and the Theory of Symbolic Convergence. The research paradigm is Interpretivism through a descriptive qualitative approach using the netnography method. The data collection technique used in this study involves eliminating comments that are not related to the narrative content, emojis without text, and English-language text. The research results indicate that there are fantasy themes that develop on the Instagram account @lautbercerita, namely the themes (1) Resistance Against State Silence, (2) Loss of Resistance Figures, (3) Hope for the Future, (4) State Injustice Against Human Rights. The fantasy chains that the researcher found during the analysis are clearly visible in the similarity of meanings in comments, which can evoke emotional feelings and grief among individuals. Accompanied by fantasy types, there are various languages or terms such as Still dark, Sea, Sea of mother, Miss, Longing, Light, Corridor, Watching together, 98, We lost again, Not fiction. Up to rhetorical visions, there is an emotional feeling of the public toward the law and the release of the feature film Laut Bercerita, which will spread widely within society. In conclusion, there are four fantasy themes that trigger the emergence of fantasy chains, fantasy types, and rhetorical visions, thereby enhancing group communication cohesion. Akun Instagram @lautbercerita dalam kolom komentar melakukan pendekatan melalui berbagai fantasi lalu dikembangkan untuk membangun komunikasi kelompok yang kohesif. Fokus penelitian ini memiliki 2 pertanyaan yaitu Bagaimana tema-tema fantasi yang tercipta melalui kolom komentar pada postingan akun @lautbercerita? Dan Unsur-unsur simbolik apa saja yang terbentuk dalam akun Instagram @lautbercerita? Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis adanya fungsi dan makna simbolik dari tema fantasi dalam akun @lautbercerita. Tinjauan Pustaka terdiri dari 6 penelitian terdaulu. Kajian teoritis terdiri dari Komunikasi, Novel, Teori Konvergensi Simbolik. Paradigma dari penelitian ini Interpretivisme melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode netnografi. Teknik Pengumpulan Data penelitian ini yaitu mengeliminasi komentar-komentar yang tidak berkaitan dengan isi narasi, emoji tanpa teks dan teks berbahasa inggris. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa terdapat tema fantasi yang berkembang di Akun Instagram @lautbercerita yaitu tema (1) Perlawanan Terhadap Kebungkaman Negara, (2) Kehilangan Tokoh Perlawanan, (3) Harapan Akan Masa Depan, (4) Ketidakadilan Negara Terhadap HAM. Rantai fantasi yang peneliti temukan pada saat peneliti lakukan analisis yaitu terlihat jelas pada kesamaan makna dalam berkomentar yang dapat menimbulkan perasaan emosional dan duka antara individu. Diiringi dengan tipe fantasi adanya ragam bahasa atau istilah yaitu Masih gelap, Laut, Mas laut, Kangen, Rindu, Cahaya, Lorong, Nobar, 98, Kita kalah lagi, Bukan fiksi. Hingga pada visi retoris adanya perasaan emosional khalayak terhadap hukum dan diangkatnya film layar lebar Laut Bercerita yang akan menjadi menyebar luas ke dalam Masyarakat. Kesimpulannya, terdapat empat tema fantasi yang memicu timbulnya rantai fantasi, tipe fantasi, visi retoris sehingga mampu meningkatkan komunikasi kelompok yang kohesivitas.
