Abstract
This study seeks to assess the impact of: (1) workload on employee performance, (2) work stress on employee performance, and (3) work environment on employee performance at PT Large Indonesia. PT Large Indonesia operates in the leather chemical industry. This research employs a quantitative methodology. This study used a nonprobability sampling technique, specifically the census method, encompassing a total of 64 respondents from the entire population. This study used the Component or Variance-Based Structural Equation Modeling methodology with Partial Least Squares (Smart-PLS) software version 4.0 for data analysis. The data collection strategy employed involves distributing questionnaires to the workers of PT Large Indonesia. The study's findings reveal that: (1) Workload adversely and significantly impacts employee performance, (2) Work stress adversely and significantly affects employee performance, (3) Work environment positively and significantly influences employee performance at PT. Large Indonesia. The study's results demonstrate that workload, work-related stress, and the work environment are critical issues that must be addressed to enhance employee performance and attain organizational objectives.. Keyword : Workload, Job Stress, and Work Environment, Employee Performance Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh: (1) beban kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan, (2) stres kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan, dan (3) lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT Large Indonesia. PT Large Indonesia bergerak di bidang industri kimia kulit. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling, khususnya metode sensus, yang mencakup total 64 responden dari seluruh populasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi Component or Variance-Based Structural Equation Modeling dengan perangkat lunak Partial Least Squares (Smart-PLS) versi 4.0 untuk analisis data. Strategi pengumpulan data yang digunakan melibatkan penyebaran kuesioner kepada pekerja PT Large Indonesia. Temuan penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa: (1) Beban kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, (2) Stres kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, (3) Lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT. Large Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beban kerja, stres kerja, dan lingkungan kerja merupakan isu kritis yang harus ditangani untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan dan mencapai tujuan organisasi.
