Abstract
This study aims to determine and analyze the Effect of Compensation on Employee Performance with Job Satisfaction as a Mediating Variable. The population in the study were all employees at unit X at Plaza "ABC", Jakarta. The research sample consisted of 40 people. The Sampling Method used was NonProbability Sampling with the Sampling Technique, namely Saturated Sampling. The Research Design was Quantitative Design with Survey Method. The Data Collection Instrument was a Questionnaire. The data was processed with SmartPLS software version 3 and analyzed with SEM-PLS. The results of this study concluded that: Compensation has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction; Job Satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, Compensation has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance; and Job Satisfaction is able to mediate with complementary partial mediation on the effect of Compensation on Employee Performance. Keywords: Compensation, Job Satisfaction, Employee Performance Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis Pengaruh Kompensasi Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan dengan Kepuasan Kerja Sebagai Variabel Mediasi. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh karyawan pada Unit X pada Plaza “ABC”, Jakarta. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 40 orang. Metode Sampling yang dipakai adalah Non-Probability Sampling dengan Teknik Sampling yaitu Sampling Jenuh. Desain Penelitian adalah Desain Kuantitatif dengan Metode Survei. Instrumen Pengumpulan Data adalah Kuesioner. Data diolah dengan software SmartPLS versi 3 dan dianalisis dengan SEM-PLS. Hasil Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa: Kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja; Kepuasan Kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan, Kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan; dan Kepuasan Kerja mampu memediasi dengan mediasi parsial komplementer (Complementary Partial Mediation) pada pengaruh Kompensasi terhadap Kinerja Karyawan.
