Abstract

A person's digital self-image can be formed when they upload a photo or video on Instagram. Because now, Instagram is not only a platform to share ordinary photos or videos, but a very appropriate medium to show a person's self-image through content that is made well or as attractive as possible. This research was conducted to analyze and describe the representation of digital self-image influencer Dianty Annisa as a hijab fashion enthusiast on Instagram @diantyy.a. This study uses the semiotic analysis method from Charles Sanders Peirce with a qualitative approach, as well as using the constructivism paradigm through the method of observation and in-depth analysis on several posts in the @diantyy.a Instagram account contained in the analysis unit table. Semiotic analysis from Charles Sanders Peirce with a triadic model or commonly referred to as "triangle meaning" is used to analyze signs through representation, object, and interpretant components. The results of the study show that the representation of Dianty Annisa's digital self-image is reflected through various signs that make up her identity. Where these signs are seen through several factors such as physical factors, intellectual factors, moral factors, and sexual factors, all of which are interconnected to build Dianty's self-image in the eyes of the public. Keywords: Representation, Self-Image, Influencer, Peirce Semiotics Citra diri digital seseorang dapat terbentuk ketika ia mengunggah sebuah foto atau video di Instagram. Karena kini, Instagram bukan hanya menjadi platform untuk membagikan foto atau video biasa saja, melainkan menjadi media yang sangat tepat untuk memperlihatkan citra diri seseorang melalui konten-konten yang dibuat dengan baik atau semenarik mungkin. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis dan menggambarkan representasi citra diri digital influencer Dianty Annisa sebagai hijab fashion enthusiast di Instagram @diantyy.a. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis semiotika dari Charles Sanders Peirce dengan pendekatan kualitatif, serta menggunakan paradigma konstruktivisme melalui metode observasi dan analisis mendalam pada beberapa postingan dalam akun Instagram @diantyy.a yang terdapat dalam tabel unit analisis. Analisis semiotika dari Charles Sanders Peirce dengan model triadik atau yang biasa disebut sebagai “triangle meaning” digunakan untuk menganalisis tanda-tanda melalui komponen representamen, object, dan juga interpretant. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa representasi citra diri digital Dianty Annisa tercermin melalui berbagai tanda yang membentuk identitasnya. Dimana tanda-tanda tersebut dilihat melalui beberapa faktor seperti faktor fisik, faktor intelektual, faktor moral, dan faktor seksual, yang semuanya saling terhubung untuk membangun citra diri Dianty di mata publik.
