Abstract
In achieving optimal performance results, one of the factors that plays an important role is the meaning of work. Therefore, companies need to pay attention to driving factors in order to achieve good performance results in accordance with company targets. When an employee has a positive meaning in his work, his performance will also be high. The research was conducted on 134 employees of PT XYZ. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between meaningful work and performance among employees of PT XYZ. This research is a quantitative study of the correlation method. The subjects of this study were employees of PT XYZ. Meaningful work is measured by the WAMI scale, and performance is measured by the IWPQ scale. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between meaningful work and performance among PT XYZ employees. Keywords: meaningful work, performance, employee. Dalam mencapai hasil kinerja yang optimal, salah satu faktor yang berperan penting adalah makna kerja. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan perlu untuk memperhatikan faktor pendorong guna mencapai hasil kinerja yang baik dan sesuai dengan target perusahaan. Ketika seorang pegawai memiliki pemaknaan positif dalam pekerjaannya, maka kinerjanya akan tinggi pula. Penelitian dilakukan pada 134 karyawan PT. XYZ. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara makna kerja dengan kinerja pada karyawan PT. XYZ. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif metode koresional. Subjek penelitian ini adalah karyawan PT. XYZ. Makna Kerja diukur dengan skala WAMI, Kinerja diukur dengan skala IWPQ. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya hubungan antara makna kerja dan kinerja pada karyawan PT. XYZ. Kata kunci: makna kerja, kinerja, karyawan.
