Abstract
Performance in the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) refers to the extent to which an organization, unit or individual effectively achieves their strategic goals and objectives. Performance is assessed by comparing actual results with desired results as articulated in the organization's strategic plan. In the context of the Mining Industry, performance is an important study to examine because operating conditions in remote areas such as those in Kalimantan present a series of challenges for workers. These challenges include long working hours, limited social interaction, and the need to adapt to challenging living conditions, which can have an adverse impact on workers' physical and mental health, including affecting workers' performance. This research will examine the influence of organizational commitment and psychological empowerment on performance. This empirical study involved 74 operators at mining company X. The results found that there was a positive and significant influence of organizational commitment on performance with a value of 0.588 (t count > t table). As well as the influence of psychological empowerment on performance with a value of 0.620 (t count > t table). Kinerja dalam Balanced Scorecard (BSC) mengacu pada sejauh mana suatu organisasi, unit, atau individunya secara efektif mencapai tujuan dan sasaran strategisnya. Kinerja dinilai dengan membandingkan hasil aktual dengan hasil yang diinginkan sebagaimana diartikulasikan dalam rencana strategis organisasi. Dalam konteksnya di Industri Pertambangan, kinerja menjadi kajian yang penting untuk diteliti karna kondisi beroperasi di daerah terpencil seperti yang terjadi di Kalimantan menghadirkan serangkaian tantangan tersendiri bagi para pekerja. Tantangan-tantangan ini mencakup jam kerja yang panjang, interaksi sosial yang terbatas, dan kebutuhan untuk beradaptasi dengan kondisi kehidupan yang menantang, hal ini memungkinkan terjadinya dampak buruk pada kesehatan fisik dan mental para pekerja termasuk mempengaruhi kinerja para pekerja. Penelitian ini akan mengkaji pengaruh commitment organization dan psychological empowerment terhadap kinerja, studi empiris ini melibatkan 74 operator di perusahaan tambang X. Hasil ditemukan terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan commitment organization terhadap kinerja dengan nilai 0,588 (t hitung > t table). Serta adanya pengaruh psychological empowerment terhadap kinerja dengan nilai 0,620 (t hitung > t table). Kata Kunci: Kinerja, Commitment Organization, Psychological Empowerment, Operator Tambang.
