Abstract

Essentially, the success or failure of efforts to achieve organizational goals is determined by the quality of leadership, because leadership plays a strategic role and is the core of an organization. In carrying out his duties as a leader, must be able to create harmonious communication between leaders and employees. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the application of leadership interpersonal communication to all employees and management teams, as well as the type of leadership applied by Country Functional Leaders in Risk Advisory in order to achieve leadership alignment and achieve corporate goals of PT Deloitte Konsultan Indonesia. The research method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative research method. In collecting data, researchers used in-depth interviews with 1 Key Informant and 4 Informants. The results showed that the type of communication applied by leaders is interpersonal communication to all employees and controlling to the management team. Then based on the results of the analysis of the type of leadership applied by Country Functional Leader Risk Advisory is to balance the 2 types of leadership, namely transformational and transactional. In this study, the Leader conducts internal communication by applying the Transformational leadership style, while the application of the Transactional leadership style is applied in communication between the management team and the client. Key words : Interpersonal Communication, Transformational Leadership, Transactional Leadership, Work motivation Hakekatnya, sukses tidaknya usaha pencapaian tujuan organisasi ditentukan oleh kualitas kepemimpinan, karena kepemimpinan memegang peranan yang strategis dan merupakan inti dari sebuah organisasi. Dalam mengemban tugasnya sebagai pemimpin, harus mampu menciptakan komunikasi yang harmonis antara pemimpin dan karyawannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa bagaimana penerapan komunikasi interpersonal pimpinan kepada seluruh karyawan dan management team, serta tipe kepemimpinan yang diterapkan oleh Country Functional Leader dalam Risk Advisory guna mencapai keselarasan kepemimpinan dan mencapai tujuan perusahaan PT Deloitte Konsultan Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Dalam pengumpulan data, peneliti menggunakan wawancara secara mendalam kepada 1 Key Informan dan 4 Informan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis komunikasi yang diterapkan oleh pemimpin adalah komunikasi interpersonal kepada seluruh karyawan dan controlling kepada management team. Kemudian berdasarkan hasil analisa tipe kepemimpinan yang diterapkan oleh Country Functional Leader Risk Advisory adalah menyeimbangkan 2 tipe kepemimpinan yaitu transformasional dan transaksional. Dalam penelitian ini, Pemimpin melakukan komunikasi internal dengan menerapkan gaya kepemimpinan Transformasional, sedangkan penerapan gaya kepemimpinan Transaksional diterapkan dalam komunikasi antara management team dan klien.
