Abstract

In Indonesia, COVID-19 is still not finished, almost the whole line of life experience the impact of this pandemic, especially in the field of broadcasting, although in a situation of social restrictions because pademi Covid-19 to anticipate this, KPI do the implementation of the supervision of the news covid carried out with the research. During the Pandemic KPI keep doing surveillance on the content-the content of television broadcasts, especially the content of the broadcast talk show that often violate the protocols of health and the code of conduct of broadcasters. In the literature review, this research cites several theories such as gate keeping theory, role theory, legal theory and broadcasting ethics and communication theory. The method that the author uses in this research is a case study method with a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were the Chief of Staff for the Imposition of KPI Sanctions, the Jakarta KPID Commissioner and the KPI Observer Lecturer. Data was collected by means of interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of this study are that the role of KPI in terms of supervision is actually technically different, namely collaborating with the covid group and there are those who supervise from home (WFH), regarding the Rumpi No Secret Talkshow, KPI does not differentiate from the side of supervision, the supervision side of broadcast program A, broadcast program B and also broadcast program C, KPIs are all the same It's just that they may be different if for example the broadcast program has made a mistake, if you have made a mistake the KPI must monitor more like what the changes are because every error, the KPI will definitely give notify them, or also provide knowledge, so that creative friends do not repeat the same mistake again. Keywords: KPI, Covid-19, Talk Show, Rumpi No Secret Di Indonesia pandemi COVID-19 masih belum selesai, hampir seluruh lini kehidupan mengalami dampak dari pandemi ini, terutama pada bidang penyiaran, Meskipun dalam situasi pembatasan sosial akibat pademi Covid-19 Untuk mengatisipasi hal tsb, KPI melakukan pelaksanaan pengawasan tentang pemberitaan covid yg dilakukan dengan Riset. Selama Pandemi KPI tetap melakukan pengawasan tehadap konten-konten siaran televisi terutama konten siaran talkshow yang sering melanggar protokol kesehatan dan kode etik penyiaran. Dalam tinjauan Pustaka penelitian ini mengutip beberapa teori seperti, teori gate keeping, teori peran, teori hukum dan etika penyiaran dan teori komunikasi Metode yang penulis gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Studi Kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah Kepala Staf Penjatuhan Sanksi KPI, Komisioner KPID Jakarta dan Dosen Pengamat KPI. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu Peran KPI dalam sisi pengawasan sebenarnya berbeda secara teknis yaitu berkolaborasi dengan gugus covid dan ada yang mengawasi dari rumah (WFH), terkait Rumpi No Secret Talkshow itu KPI tidak membedakan dari pada sisi pengawasan, sisi pengawasan dari program siaran A, program siaran B dan juga Program siaran C, KPI samakan semuanya Cuma hanya saja mungkin berbeda kalau misalkan program siaran tersebut sudah pernah melakukan kesalahan, kalo sudah melakukan kesalahan KPI harus memantau lebih seperti apa perubahannya karena setiap kesalahan, itu KPI pasti memberikan pemberitahuan ke mereka, ataupun juga memberikan pengetahuan, agar temanteman kreatif itu tidak mengulangi lagi sebuah kesalahan yang sama.
