Abstract
This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of work stress and organizational commitment on employee performance. This research approach uses quantitative methods. The sampling technique used a saturated sample. The number of subjects in this study were 54 active employees of PT Sentani Arjaya Sentosa. Data processing using SPSS 23 program. Data analysis to test the hypothesis by using multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing. The results showed that work stress had a significant effect on employee performance with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05 while organizational commitment had no effect on employee performance with a significance value of 0.248 > 0.05. Taken together, the contribution of work stress with organizational commitment to employee performance together is 19.3%, and the rest is not explained in this study. Keywords: work stress, organizational commitment, employee performance. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh stres kerja dan komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampel jenuh. Jumlah subyek penelitian ini yaitu 54 karyawan aktif PT Sentani Arjaya Sentosa. Pengolahan data menggunakan program SPSS 23. Analisis data untuk menguji hipotesis dengan menggunakan regresi linier berganda dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa stres kerja berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001 < 0,05 sementara komitmen organisasi tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,248 > 0,05. Secara Bersama-sama kontribusi stres kerja dengan komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan secara bersama-sama adalah 19,3%, dan selebihnya tidak dijelaskan dalam penelitian ini.
