Abstract
Researchers have seen the phenomenon of leadership styles that exist in the leadership of the Business Area Manager in an organization in a company, the leader has a leadership style that can improve employee performance, through programs to be able to direct employees to continue to follow job desks. For this reason, researchers want to know the leadership style of PT Sekurindo Packatama Indonesia's ABM (Area Business Manager) on employee performance and to know public relations communication activities from the application of leadership styles. The leadership style as Area Business Manager in improving the performance of employees of PT Sekurindo Packatama Indonesia Plaza Senayan uses a qualitative approach and descriptive type of research by conducting in-depth interviews with selected and reliable sources in seeking information about the object of the researcher. This study concludes that leadership style is very important for a company or an organization to assess the character of a leader in overcoming problems and improving employee performance in a company. Keywords: leadership style, application of leadership style Peneliti telah melihat adanya fenomena gaya kepemimpinan yang ada pada pimpinan Area Bussines Manager pada suatu organisasi di perusahaan, pimpinan memiliki gaya kepemimpinan yang dapat meningkatkan kinerja karyawan, melalui program untuk dapat mengarahkan karyawan agar tetap mengikuti job desk. Untuk itu peneliti ingin mengetahui gaya kepemimpinan ABM (Area Bussines Manager) PT Sekurindo Packatama Indonesia terhadap kinerja karyawan serta mengetahui kegiatan komunikasi kehumasan dari penerapan gaya kepemimpinan Gaya kepemimpinan selaku Area Bussines Manager dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan PT Sekurindo Packatama Indonesia Plaza Senayan ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan tipe penelitian deskriptif dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam kepada narasumber yang telah dipilih dan dapat dipercaya dalam mencari informasi tentang objek peneliti. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan adalah suatu hal yang sangat penting bagi perusahaan maupun sebuah organisasi untuk menilai karakter dari seorang pimpinan dalam mengatasi masalah serta meningkatkan kinerja karyawan pada suatu perusahaan.
