Abstract
The purpose of this research is to known about organization commitment and job boredom from employees PT. XYZ. Respondents of this study were 75 employees in various positions. This research instrument uses a modified measuring instrument with a total of 39 items for organization commitment (Allen, Meyer, 1991) with Cornbach's Alpha 0,938 & 27 item for job boredom (Fahlman, Lynn, Flora & Eastwood, 2013) with Cornbach's Alpha 0,933. Data analysis using average values (mean), Standard Deviations, and Correlation Techniques Spearman Rank. The result from this research shows that there is a negative and significant relationship between organization commitment and job boredom (r = -0,566; p = 0,000). It means the higher job boredom, the lower a commitment to yourself. Keywords : Organizational Commitment, Job Boredom Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara komitmen organisasi dan kebosanan kerja pada karyawan PT XYZ. Responden penelitian ini sebanyak 75 karyawan dengan berbagai jenis jabatan. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur hasil modifikasi dengan total aitem 39 untuk komitmen organisasi (Allen & Meyer, 1991) dengan Cornbach’s Alpha 0,938 dan 27 aitem untuk kebosanan kerja (Fahlman, Lynn, Flora & Eastwood, 2013) dengan Cornbach’s Alpha 0,933. Analisis data menggunakan nilai rata-rata (mean), standar deviasi, dan teknik korelasi Spearman Rank. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan adanya hubungan yang negatif dan signifikan antara komitmen organisasi dengan kebosana kerja (r = -0,566; p = 0,000). Artinya semakin tinggi kebosanan kerja maka semakin rendah komitmen pada dirinya. Kata Kunci : Komitmen Organisasi, Kebosanan Kerja
