Abstract

This study discusses the application of 7C in disseminating anti radical values at Universitas Mercu Buana. This study aims to understand the process and application of 7C Cutlip Center within the scope of Mercu Buana University in socializing the value of Anti Radicalism. View from the theory of communication theory, organizational communication, 7C Cutlip Center, and national integration. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of indepth interviews with expert sources. While the data analysis technique uses the Miles & Huberman technique and the trust check technique uses source triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the socialization is in accordance with the 7c communication strategy by Cutlip & Center which consists of credibility, by disseminating information from trusted sources according to the context, namely what was said during the socialization of integration and national pluralism at the University of Mercu Buana. In addition, it explains the content used, the media used and the content of the message conveyed. One of the programs made by the University of Mercu Buana is Bela Negara and Seminar Kebangsaan Keywords: Mercu Buana University, 7 C Cutlip & Center, Anti-Radicalism Penelitian ini membahas mengenai Penerapan 7C Dalam Mensosialisasikan Nilai Anti Radikal di Universitas Mercu Buana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami proses dan penerapan 7C Cutlip Center lingkup Universitas Mercu Buana dalam mensosialisasikan nilai Anti Radikalisme. Melihat dari sisi teori teori komunikasi, komunikasi organisasi, 7C Cutlip Center, dan integrasi bangsa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif dengan Teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara secara mendalam dengan para narasumber ahli. Sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik Miles & Huberman serta teknik pemeriksaan kepercayaan menggunakan trianguasi sumber. Hasil dari penelitian ini, menunjukan bahwa sosialisasi sesuai dengan strategi komunikasi 7c oleh Cutlip & Center yang terdiri dari kredibilitas, dengan menyebarkan informasi dari sumber terpercaya sesuai konteks yaitu apa yang dikatakan saat sosialisasi integrasi dan pluralism bangsa di lingkungan Universitas Mercu Buana. Selain itu menjelaskan konten yang digunakan, media yang digunakan dan isi pesan yang disampaikan. Salah satu program yang dibuat oleh pihak Universitas Mercu Buana adalah Mata Kuliah Khusus, Buku Saku, Bela Negara dan Seminar Kebangsaan.
