Abstract

Dr.OZ Indonesia was a Talkshow Program at Trans TV. Dr.OZ Indonesia is one of informative program who presented by Trans TV, This program focus in healthy information who served creatively with capable interviewers also with host as a doctor, that airs on Satuday and Sunday at 15.00 WIB The research conducted to know the strategy program production which is run by producers as one of the most important part of television program. Reviewed from the duties and responsibilities of a producer who works from the pre-production stage (starting from making concepts and ideas), production (execution of a series of production by the whole team), post-production (evaluating the program that has been produced with the whole team). This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods to describe the form of strategies that are owned by producers in the production process of Dr.OZ Indonesia. Files was collected through in-depth interviews with producers, creative teams, production assistants and program editors of Dr.OZ Indonesia on Trans TV. The object of this research is the producer strategy and the production team. The results of the research that conducted by researchers showed that the strategy that conducted by the producer was starting from the pre-production, production, to post-production processes, where everything was arranged, so that the strategy could work well in terms of improving the quality of Dr.OZ Indonesia's program. Key Words :Production Process, Producer Strategy, program Dr.OZ Indonesia Dr.OZ Indonesia adalah program talk show di Trans TV. Dr.OZ Indonesia merupakan suatu program informatif yang disajikan oleh Trans TV, program ini fokus pada informasi kesehatan yang dikemas secara kreatif dengan narasumber yang mumpuni begitu juga dengan host yang merupakan seorang dokter, yang tayang pada hari Sabtu dan Minggu pukul 15.00 WIB Penelitian yang dilakukan untuk mengetahui strategi produksi program yang dijalankan oleh seorang produser sebagai salah satu bagian terpenting dalam suatu program acara televisi. Ditinjau dari tugas dan tanggung jawab seorang produser yang bekerja dari tahap pra produksi (dimulai dari membuat konsep dan ide), produksi (eksekusi rangkaian produksi oleh seluruh tim), paska produksi (melakukan evaluasi program yang telah di produksi bersama seluruh tim). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif untuk menggambarkan bentuk strategi yang dimiliki produser dalam proses produksi Dr.OZ Indonesia. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap produser, tim kreatif, asisten produksi dan editor program Dr.OZ Indonesia di Trans TV. Objek dari peelitian ini adalah strategi produser beserta tim produksi. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan peneliti menunjukan bahwa strategi yang di lakukan produser adalah mulai dari proses pra produksi, produksi, hingga pasca produksi, dimana semuanya di atur sedemikian rapi agar strategi dapat berjalan dengan baik dalam hal meningkatkan kualitas program Dr.OZ Indonesia.
