Abstract

In the development of social media instagram not only serve as a medium of communication only. But in a more distant instagram social media as a means of creating an image of politics by political figures. This research entitled Political Imagery Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno In Instagram account @Sandiuno In The 2019 Presidential Election campaign objective of this study to determine the political image construction efforts undertaken by Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno in utilizing his instagram account during the 2019 presidential election campaign. Theories and concepts used in this research is to use the theory of political communication and political image by using semiotic analysis MAK Halliday This study uses a paradigm research konstruktifis with semiotic research methods and approach intrerpretaif kualitatif. The results of this study will analyze the image built by Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno as vice president and new politicians in Indonesia From the research conducted by researchers, it can be concluded that the his instagram account Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno construct the political image of himself as a leading figure who was present in the community, communicative leadership figure, the figure of the leader who concentrated on economic issues as well as he describes his political image as a charismatic figure and an inspiring leader. Keywords: Political imagery, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, Instagram, Semiotics MAK Halliday Dalam perkembangannya media sosial instagram tidak hanya dijadikan sebagai media komunikasi saja. Tetapi secara lebih jauh media sosial instagram dijadikan sebagai sarana pembentukan citra politik oleh tokoh politik. Penelitian ini berjudul Citra Politik Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno Dalam Akun Instagram @Sandiuno Pada Masa Kampanye pemilihan Presiden 2019. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui upaya konstruksi citra politik yang dilakukan oleh Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno dalam memanfaatkan akun instagramnya pada masa kampanye pemilihan presiden 2019. Teori dan konsep yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan teori komunikasi politik dan citra politik dengan menggunakan analisis semiotika M.A.K Halliday Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma penilitian konstruktifis dengan metode penelitian semiotika dan pendekatan kualititif intrerpretaif. Hasil penelitian ini akan menganalisa citra yang dibangun oleh Sandiaga Salahahuddin Uno sebagai calon wakil presiden sekaligus politisi baru di Indonesia Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan peneliti, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam akun instragramnya Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno mengkonstruksikan citra politik dirinya sebagai figur pemimpin yang hadir ditengah masyarakat, figur pemimpin yang komunikatif, figur pemimpin yang konsen terhadap masalah perekonomian serta ia menggambarkan citra politiknya sebagai figur pemimpin yang kharismatik dan inspiratif.
